It's not just amazon. Walmart & Target also have unfilled prepaids that I know of.

Debating on whether to cancel my preorder or keep and see about reselling.

I caved just now and bought the CE from newegg. I used their 10% coupon for paying with V.me and had the free 2 day shipping via shop runner. I'm in TX so "no" taxes for me. $71.99 total. Not too bad.

Whoo, got a usable pair of level 70 nemesis bracers to wear fulltime. Pretty handy.

Some of the rifts are better than I expected, my friends and I got a massive one (based off of the Cursed Hold) which was absolutely loaded with champs/elites and some very mob-dense ones as well last night. But at the same time there are some which are very short/barren and require a bunch of maps/running to fill the bar. I dunno, if that's what they want to do that's fine but I think soloing I prefer just doing the bounties.

Finally started act 5 last night. On master the new act seems easier than farming the old ones at the same level.

I'm still working my way back to A5. I reset quests just before release and lost time to do it, but now I'm closing in on the end of A3 and A4 should go quickly.

I'm already level 70 though. I've found several small upgrades at this point, when totaled together makes my Wizard quite a bit stronger than he was previously, but I'd still like to find my first "epic" upgrade!

Speaking of that, it seems like I get leg / set drops less frequently. I wonder if it's because I can't do T3 anymore.

So I guess that if you complete the five bounties in an act, you can then have your friends join the game before talking to Tyrael and they will get a free cache as though they completed the bounties with you. Anyone try this yet?

So, there are legendaries that only drop in the cache boxes and people are doing split bounty farming (everyone does a different bounty) to efficiently get them quickly on normal.

Got my crusader to 70 and I am doing pretty good. Got a few decent upgrades, but nothing amazing yet legendary wise. I have over 400k dps though.

Spent a good bit of time farming Malthael last night for the Reaper's Fear mat and didn't get a single one... If you TP out and leave the game right after he drops loot, it doesn't reset the checkpoint right before the fight.

So I've managed to get 3 lvl 70 legendary set plans and have them in my available list of craftable items. The thing that is confounding to me is that they all require at least one very special ingredient that I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get. I'm at work right now but, if I remember correctly, two of them are Born's and Asheara's (or something like that). Are the special ingredients needed just as random as all other drops?

If hey are, I have to ask...what's the point of having craftable legendary set items when there is absolutely no way to work towards actually crafting the set? I've always understood the "loot hunt" concept of the game and accepted the fact that randomness was a part of the game. As I play more, I'm coming to despise and hate the complete and utter randomness things like the special crafted ingredient needed for lvl 70 items.

Is it so hard to have some legendary items and/or legendary craft mats have better drop percentages in certain acts/chapters/bosses?

I have an ingredient but no plans.

Makes some sense. Crafting sets makes them a lot less rare. But if it's just up to relying on a drop you will still likely not get the piece you wanted. If all you need is an ingredient, you can at least get yourself the proper piece.

The special ingredients drop off of certain bosses. There is a list that shows which bosses, but you'd have to google it. Malthael, for example, drops the Reaper's Fear. Although, the chances have to be incredibly low, or I'm just unlucky. I killed him around 30 times yesterday and didn't get a single drop. =(

Yeah I've noticed a lot of variability too. A few days ago I ran one rift with a group and we had to go to the 7th level to kill enough stuff to get the guardian to appear. Now, we didn't clear every monster, but it wasn't like we were avoiding them.

Then today, I played one rift where we were only partway through the first level (cathedral-esque) when the guardian came. Right when we started the rift, there were 2 elites and a champion pack basically camping the front door.

Still, it's good fun.

However, the horadric caches have been pretty underwhelming for me. Gems, rift keystones, and two trash rares is all I usually get.

Yea, the rare craft items besides death's breath drop in certain places. I got one from a champion sand shark in A2, a bottle of sand. It's orange with a specific name and is used in the level 70 Crimson gear set.

Careful with crafting, especially with the random properties. I wouldn't do it unless you are high on gold. I just tried, required a bunch of unique items and sliced me at least a few mln. Turned out a pos item.

In case you guys haven't seen it, there are specific legendaries for Horadric caches, specific by act:

I want these!

Wow, 1 hour shrine effects, that is an awesome affix.

Is there anything crafting wise that you need marquise and above gems for? Now that they marquises drop constantly it seems like it won't be long before I've filled all of my gear slots with max level gems.

Before the expansion, I crafted awesome upgrades, one of which I still haven't replaced. But, I spent millions and was able to craft 30+ pieces til I hit the jackpot on the weapon.

Rings / Amulets.

The effect is only 10 minutes shrines. It was 1 hour in beta and they nerfed it.

Also, you need flawless imperial gems to use the mystic on rings and amulets IIRC.

Bought RoS, and immediately started up a Crusader. Overall, not that impressed. He's really slow in fights compared to other classes, but he's barely level 35, so that may change. I finally jumped into Act V last night, and HOT DAMN! Blizzard definitely upped their game on this expansion.
I only played it for about an hour or so, but so far, so very freaking good. Love the whole ambient atmosphere of the broke-down town and there seem to be a ton of side quests. Really looking forward to taking my time and exploring Act V thoroughly.
I was a bit nervous about how Act V was going to be, due to my experience with the Crusader, but it flat out kicks ass.
Cheers Blizzard

Oh and the Black Hole spell for the Wizard is crazy fun.

I wonder if they affect Pylon bonuses in rifts too?

My bracers that spawn champions when you use a shrine did spawn a monster at a pylon. I bet they do, that would be nuts!

I see a lot of complaints in the Crusader forum on b.net about how bad the Crusader is, and them needing a buff, etc. Are they that bad at higher levels? I'm talking fun wise, how are they? Mine is 14 right now, and it's "meh" but I was counting on it getting fun later on. Debating if I want to keep at it, or do a Monk or Barbarian since I'm in a melee sort of mood after taking my Wizard to 70.

Nobody's taught the masses how to play it yet. A year and a half ago the prevailing thought was that barb was a second class citizen until some guy posted that "hey, this sprint/whirlwind thing works pretty good!" and then it took off and barbs were pre-expansion gods.

I haven't played Crusader yet myself but I'd wager they're going to be just fine.

People crying about Crusader either have awful gear or are mouth breathers. I basically swapped out my Barbs WW gear to the Crusader at 60 and it isn't bad. My only real complaint is resource management is a bit tricky now (I find myself having to auto attack more than I'd like) and CDs are a bit long. However, he class is incredibly fun at 400k+ dps. I jump into groups like Imperius and then throw my shield around like Captain America. That crap is awesome.
