Got to paragon 18 over the weekend... gotten 3 legendaries since I've started, one was <60, the other 2 were so bad they were salvaged. I probably did full A3 from beginning to end about a dozen times, looted over 500 rares >60 and probably vendored/salvaged 99% of them. [got absolutely 0 gem plan drops and nothing > 6 props]

Having done what I did since the patch and seeing what drops were like. It must have been a miracle that I got what I got post 1.03.

how long does it take you to do full a3? i havent played much since patch, but i did 5 A2 vault runs last nights over the course of an hour, including BCM and road to alcarnus for the quick packs. getting about 1/4 of a paragon level per run. found some mediocre rares that sold for 100k ea that netted me just under a million. things are just so easy to kill now, the only carrot on a stick is leveling your character lol.

while i don't actually play D3, i enjoy reading other player's whining.

pre-patch: "Inferno A2 is too hard! i quit until patch!"
post-patch:"meh...A2 inferno too easy...no reason to play..."

will you (not "you" specifically) ever be satisfied??

Retired my monk so I'm doing this on my ww barb so things are a bit faster due to run speed & sprint.

Solo it takes about 2 hr, a bit more if I have to corpse run more than usual.

Co-op takes about 2 hrs or under depending on efficiency.

Can prob do 1.5 hrs in co-op if going for pure speed runs going from checkpoint to checkpoint. It's the looting and turning around to check for legendary drops, & hitting optional dungeons that increases the time.

No matter what they do, this game will never be great (in my eyes) simply due to the auction house.

But I play mostly because I can co-op with my gf.

The AH is a joke these days. I can't find an item to Buyout unless I'm willing to overpay by 10x and Bidding is useless unless I can be online when the auction expires to have a fighting chance.

I am trying to 3 piece IK set to give my 2hander viability in Act3/4 but getting pieces under 10 million is slow and painful.

Selling is boom or bust. I cant sell anything except items worth 5 mil or more.

I had a lot of fun beating Inferno, but could only do it in tank spec.

I'm paragon 7 now. Other than the first pretty sweet legendary I found within an hour or two of 1.04 coming out, I haven't found anything really. Lots of rares, but nothing really good compared to what others are finding now.

Just got a 2 hander blue Axe 1299 dmg ... nothing really fancy except for the damage! I have no clue what to do with it... AH or not and for how much...

I'm up to paragon 9 and still sticking to Act 1 because I can rack up about 300k gold/hour and roughly the same amount of experience compared to Act 3. This is because I need my damage/health equipment to do Act 3, whereas I can go full mf/gf gear and kill things at least twice as quickly since they don't hit as hard and have less hp.

Oh ya, and I found an amulet with +max dmg, +7% AS, +7% crit chance, and +58% crit damage yesterday. Bumped my dps by 6k. That'd probably go for a good price, but too damn good to give up.

I found a 1250 dps crossbow a few days back, only blue, and sold it on AH for 450k gold - comparable bow was 500k.

Found a rare 1250 dps crossbow months ago and sold it for $12 on RMAH. Stats sucked and the attack speed was slow enough that I didn't want to keep it for my DH, despite the few extra thousand dps bump. Doesn't do me much good to have a "high dps" when I can barely get a shot off while kiting.

Nice! That ring would probably go for 20M+.

I found a rare 1350+ dps 2-h sword with a ton of int. Gave it to my enchantress. Looked on AH and these go for less than 100k 🙁. Her damage is up to 4k now though. She can actually kill things in Act 1 inferno.

ya, they suck mostly for what they can do (enchant roots are about best I guess) but the passive regens are decent to have up.

Yah, enchantress can charm, give you + armor, ias, etc. don't sleep on the scoundrel either, his blind skill is nice. I give them all 1/2 decent stuff. They increase your mf/gf to.

I hear that.. mad funny. Same thing with COD though. People that whine and complain probably play more than anyone else actually.

not a bad idea... I dont usually have a follower so I have no clue what level they are !!!

Yes using a follower is a must. Their bonuses such as magic find and crit chance (scoundrel) is a huge add. It doesn't even matter if they die in battle or not the effects last the entire time they are "following" your character.

The followers always start at your clvl - 1.

I just found this Legendary during an Act 3 run off an elite:

Pretty stoked, first one of the new patch.
