I'd like to see Blizzard make a totally new game completly disconnected from Warcraft, Diablo, or Starcraft for a change.
 
you know the fighting games where its like DC COMICS vs street fighter and that stuff? well yea blizzard should do sc vs wc vs diablo and make a fighting game.....yea really.

me too, but WHY would they when wotlk is coming out, WoW still is a good cash cow, and SC2 is on its way...

QFT. They've been living off of their old ideas for a long time now. Eventually they need to actually start brainstorming and come up with an original product.

boourns, my guess is wrath of the lich king. give me starcraft2, damnit!

and while blizzard could use some new IP, diablo and SC are fantastic worlds i'd like to continue to visit. screw warcraft 😛
 
Sources say Diablo III, the question is whether or not it will be an MMO. I'm really hoping it's not but I fear it will be... if it is I think I'm gonna cry.
 
The graphic heavily hints at WOTLK and the timing is about right to start closed beta signups, but I'm also really hoping for D3. They usually only put up splash screens for announcements of new games.

In this day and age, it wouldn't be able to compete unless it were an MMO. As for other IPs, since Blizzard is now a part of Activision, they can essentially be handed other IPs owned by the company or can collaborate with other divisions for new types of ganes, I kind of like how blizzard sticks to MMORPGs, and RTSs as their main forte.
