Are there any Detroit Tigers fans on these forums. Maybe we should all switch to the bag-over-head avatar 🙂

Last nights game, a six zero loss to the friggin Royals. THE ROYALS!! How does Paul Byrd throw a CG 6-Hitter. Who the Heck is Paul Byrd.

This loss drops the Tigers to 3-15, only 85 more games to go until we hit the magic number!!!

Maybe if we are lucky, we can land Vlad Guerrero in a Contraction Draft.

Unfortuantly, it looks the Tigers farm system isnt going to be much help either.

Ryan Raeburn: Out for Season

Michael Woods: Out for Season

Kenny Baugh: Inactive(Tired Arm)

Eric Munson(AAA Toledo) .197 avg and 22 K's

Omar Infante(AAA Toledo) .167 avg, only 2 extra base hits, lots of errors, 12 K's

John Hannahan(High A Lakeland) .243 avg, 12 K's, 1 Hr

Sigh............

I am a long-time TIgers fan.

100 loses this year seems inevitable. I would just like to see them get BETTER than worse. They haven't been over .500 for a season in nearly 10 years. Ugh.

Win or lose it's still kind of entertaining listening to Gibby in the booth (where the hell is he this year?...I haven't seen him yet), of course it's better when they win. 🙂

Tigers? Who are they? 😉

GO WINGS!!!

Hard to believe that both teams are owned by the same owner.

Anybody want to go for the double and admit that they are a Lions fan too?

"Hi, my name is John. I'm a Tigers AND Lions fan."

😱

We're just in a transition stage. Wait'll you see us 12 years from now! 😛

As someone recovering from the 100-loss club a year ago, I can say that I sympathise with you. Hopefully the Buccos won't be joining the Tigers in the 100 loss club this year, but there is still a ways to go.

I had to LOL at that one. I have a team on ESPN's Classic Fantasy Baseball and Willie is our DH on that team. He was initially our #3 hitter, but was floundering. He's knocking the cover off the ball as a #5 hitter now (our cleanup hitter is another Willie - Stargell).

Anyone think the Tigers will equal the Pistons Win Total of 50 games this year ?

OMG! The MoTown Kitties Won Tonight! Jeff Weaver had a complete Game 5 Hitter and Randell "Barry Bonds" Simon hit his 5th HR of the season, a three run shot.

4-15!

Staff Ace Steve Sparks (1-1 2.30 ERA 4 Starts) is pitching tommorow, could the Kitties make it two in a row ?

At this rate, they'll win ~45 games!

Jeff Weaver is one of their very few bright spots. Don't worry, though... They'll soon trade him away for some scrub.

:| Still bitter about trading away Luis Gonzalez! :|

Don't feel bad guys

Bad news is you might lose 100 games Good news is with as many bad teams there are in baseball someone might lose more than you guys

What's Weaver's record? If I'm not mistaken, their prodigal son Cornejo is 0-2 with an ERA near double digits. I remember last year Gibby and Keating talking like he's gunna be the next Jack Morris. 🙂

I'm a Tigers, Lions and Pistons fan. It makes me so mad that Illitch doesn't sell the Tigers, he just can't afford to support both the Tigers and Wings. In fact, the only Detroit team I don't like is the Red Wings (sorry Wingznut), I'm a die hard Hartford Whalers fan and I'm boycotting hockey until the team moves back to Hartford!

He is 1-3 3.31 ERA

Cornejo is 0-2 with an ERA at an even 9.00
