Sweet Business, Auto Rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
Raiden Flux, Hunter Chest armor: 23 Legendary Shards
Doom Fang Pauldron, Titan gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
Winter’s Guile, Warlock gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards

No trials of the nine for the next two weeks while they fix the wall glitching.

I was a casual D1 player and while it is now much easier and nicer to be able to afford stuff from Xur every week, it was actually cool back in D1 when you could actually afford his stuff because he mostly gave out pretty good stuff and Strange Coins weren't as easy to get. With how easy it is to get Legendary Shards now, Xur has lost practically all his mojo.

That will change when there are more exotics. Though for a warlock the winter’s guile gloves could be a best in slot item.

Sweet business is fun if you don't have it. 99 rounds of full auto and once it's going has practically no recoil so you can stay on critical hits for practically the whole magazine. Really helps solo bosses.

I've so many legendary shards I can buy whatever I want from xur. Kinda takes the fun out of it.

They are adding the ability to spend tokens and shards on specific items from the venders at some point. They are also adding weapons that compliment each other for kinetic and energy slots. There was a twitch broadcast from Bungie yesterday that went over some of the stuff they've been watching and going to adjust or modify. A lot of it was cosmetic like special event ornaments, new weapon ornaments, shaders etc which is kind of bad because some of it will be tied to eververse no doubt. There was a ghost shell that looked cosmic and reacted when you moved around. Kind of cool but useless at the same time. They will also be updating certain weapon perks and the visual style of various weapons as time goes on.

It is fun, and it gets downright silly if you have a Titan wearing Actium War Rig - endless hail of bullets. You will burn through kinetic ammo like there's no tomorrow, though.
 
First time ever seeing this, didn't know it was possible. Basically the servator public event never offered to trigger the heroic. The servator never went immune. In the video you can glimpse the smaller servator around the central platform but note the prime servator never warped to the center and went immune like usual. I asked and people say if you do too much damage too quickly and drop it below around 1/2 in a very short time, it won't allow you to trigger it.

Just find a group on the forum, and advertise that you're a noob. Raid is pretty damn easy if you can just follow basic instructions.

I could have done it with my clan but missed out a couple of times. Doesn’t really matter. I have a few raid weapons from engrams and none of the other gear is particularly interesting for me.
 
I mean, it's a fun experience to go through. Relies more on ability to follow steps than skill though so after clearing it 15 times in the first 3 weeks I stopped lol.
 
New Faction Rally starts next weekly reset (Tuesday). New weapons for each faction too. Lets just hope people wise up and stop repping Dead Orbit this time because their weapons absolutely suck and their reward weapon is a damn grenade launcher if they win. Future war Cult has a fusion rifle but New Monarchy has a Sword this time if either of them win the rally.

It's definitely the best choice this time. I'll admit to repping DO last time on one character because I thought their shaders would be cool but they weren't and every single weapon is the worst archetype for that class of weapon. Absolute trash tier. FWC has very good weapons and New Monarchy arguably the best armor. Honestly since you had to run to each faction and could preview the weapons, why did so many pick Dead Orbit in the first place?

I only chose DO because most places I read that's what people were choosing so I figured they would win.
 
What sucks is that there's not a single upgrade or new perk in any of those. There's nothing new to try out... And this time it takes longer to grind (though 3 tokens per lost sector chest... I think nessus will be very popular, with that lost sector next to Failsafe).

We need new perks and new mods and new stuff to do that gives new rewards. Something new, anything. Not reskins and perk shuffle.

So basically everyone wanted the worst weapon option as the reward? lol

I saw a lot of people saying "DO is the best" etc as well before the faction rally started but when you are forced to go to each faction leader one by one and you can preview the items it should have been obvious that DO is the worst.

That stuff won't come until later I'm afraid. We will probably have to wait until after the first expansion to get some of those adjustments.
