Most of it is memorizing the area and what way to go. Before there are videos up and strategies posted, people winging it will take a very long time to get through a raid. Who would figure out how Gorgons work on the first try? That if you kill one the door closes on a chest, that you can get extra chests by doing certain things or going a certain way. Figuring out how to cleanse yourself from fanatics, how the relic works etc. All these things were unknown and we may look at it and say "this is easy" but for those first groups it was not.

Ok fine then, but still, it's so little content for a game that has so little content. So we will have two more strikes (on Playstation) and one raid to play a hundred times over.

Take out the raid and it's very little content which is what most will get out of the DLC. It's asinine that the "meat" of the DLC requires the use of a third party site to hopefully find a group that's competent enough to beat the first boss in the raid.

Yea I laughed so hard at that. Me I could care less about the dlc as I barely leveled up past 24 and don't have a lot of time to play. So when I do get to, I'm happy.

I saw a bunch of people on psn share playing the new cod game. I'm only going to rent it for the story mode. I've had enough of that game after all the series.

Who knows maybe that stuff was really just unfinished sections that they scrapped and had no intention of going back to.

I ended up getting the digital guardian edition so I don't need to worry about getting the upcoming dlc anyways.

You can already tell by most of the posts on forums about it lol. it usually involves a post with one line about how the game sucks and lacks content followed by "i'm level 27 after 50 hours and get no good gear".

That's a lot of time to put into something you think sucks.
 
I'm OK with the content because I've had a ton of fun playing with my friends. That alone is worth quite a bit. Tiger strikes, dailies, weeklies, bounties don't feel repetitive and boring (yet, I guess). 3 clan members carried me and 2 other new guys through Vault last night and we had a blast doing it. Now we're ready for next time. Too bad all I got was a class item and Armentarium, which I just bought from Xur last weekend. 🙁 Overall it's been fun and just hope that they give us good amount of content for a while.
 
That has been a big part for me as well (playing with a buddy) I bought it digitally for ps3 to get it free on ps4.

My buddy has ps3 so I play on there with him and when i'm solo (not really solo anymore since iv'e met a few people on ps4 now) I play on ps4.

When I have time i usually try to get in a public event with both my characters as well as the daily story at level 28 with both. doing these with a few bounties active usually nets me my marks for the week.

Nightfall and weekly are usually done early in the week (if I have time) and i'll get in a raid once in a while. there are weeks that I don't do any raids but I don't mind.

I have a feeling the download for the Dark Below will be 2mb. Just enough to flip the content back on.
 
No...even the hotfixes are more than 2MB.

Speaking of content I played FFXI for years and after you lvl cap you start doing end game stuff. The thing is, the whole end game was super small. Sky for example was not that much stuff to do. Farm items to pop an NM and kill it to hopefully see gear drops. That was it for a long time until they added more end game stuff to do. This can be compared to the raid. You do it over and over to get gear. When you do all that is left is to help others do it. You also fought the same monsters over and over for XP.

This is how grinding works. For some people its OK. For others its not. I don't have a problem with it because I can do it with cool people. Like doing the raid last night. It was a little frustrating at times and it glitched a bit but it is a lot of fun anyway with good people.

Hopefully that wouldn't be the case since it would be kind of a slap in the face. But if the DLC content was already installed on our systems, I'm sure hackers/miners would have found out already.

The DLC content was is on our systems but unfinished. There are youtube videos of people glitching into those areas. They're not populated with enemies though. I'm not piling on here, I just thought it was interesting info.

I will say that I've made more internet friends and spent more time playing with irl friends in this game than any other on the PS4. Destinylfg.net has been amazing.

I agree they need to add a vendor in the tower where everyone can go and search for others to do crap with. Leveling up on your own isn't as fun. I'll be using this site now.

It was frustrating, cause I got the shotgun a third time and the shader a third time. Which means I got sh!t for my hunter this week and I'll be stuck on 29 for another week at least. They should really not allow an item you already have to roll again D:

Yeah they need to add a sh!t ton of features to make this game more fun and less agonizing with menu screens and load times.

A couple of things right off the bat:

1. Allow the planet destination map be available to view from anywhere (not just orbit).
2. Allow folks to share bounties - Having to go back to the Tower to grab a bounty is stupid.
3. Provide better maps while on a planet
4. View your reputation more easily in your menu screen

Plenty more after that.

1. Start me off at the Tower and not in Orbit
2. Let me accept bounties from orbit or from the app.
3. Shit, provide ANY maps on the planet.
4. +1 seeing rep without having to visit the vendor in question
5. A setting to auto salvage greens
6. Inventory on your ship that is shared between your toons
 
It needs a map in game. I'm not someone that plays so much that I have everything memorized so it would be helpful. I don't care about the load times, but then again when I play I play about 2hrs or so and move on.
