Good raiding tonight. Did Crota 2.9 times and hard VoG twice. Didn't get anything worth mentioning but I got shards, which are always good to have.

I did however get another Ghorn from Nightfall. I will not shard it!
 
Got to Crota on the Titan last night and we wiped once before a guy left...

Also, wow, damage with the sword at 32 is so much more than 31. >_>

WTF? It's his opinion.

I too think that creating a new char over and over again just to run the raid is a waste of time. But that is just my opinion.

Does it provide them the fastest way to get to 32? Sure.

Are they free to do that as they please? Absolutely.

Am I allowed to think it's a waste of time? Hell yeah I am.

I agree about the bungie trolling , but found it funny that you said you don't have the time yet you have 20 DAYS of play time. Thats almost 5 entire days a month since release.

Got the raid boots I needed and a light of the abyss. I can now proceed to 32, but still have never had galley or icebreaker drop 🙁. Patience and Time and Hunger of Crota are decent at least. Might do some VOG now to get upgraded vision to. That gun is OP for primary in PVE.

Do you even realize how much more time it would take to level up 3 or more characters a week and then do the weekly activities with them and level any gear you get? More time than I put into the game I assure you.

Yes I do and its not really that much. TallBill has one of each character almost maxed in 2/3rds the time. RNG has a lot to do with it, but its not out of the question. It would be even less time with 3 of the same character type.

No I am saying someone to level up one character then level two more to do raids and weekly/nightfall then delete them and level two more. That is going from level 1-20, swapping gear to that character and running nightfall etc then deleting that character to start another. I have seen people claim to do this 4 times a week to get gear for their main character. That's doing weekly activities 8 extra times per week.

I don't have time for that.

Light of the Abyss worth upgrading if one has Murmer maxed? The stats are marginally different but it has hive disruptor. Thoughts?
 
Not wasting shards on LoA. The only Crota weapon I sank shards into was the hunger. I may do so for BH once I'm done with upgrading armor.
 
Ugh... So, I've been in maybe 6 different groups trying Crota and they all are filled with idiots who can't perform simple tasks. I swear... Did this first try on the 32 hunter, but the titan is struggling.

It isn't too bad. I mean, you can probably level in like 5 or 6 hours straight if you know what you're doing and have gear stashed to help. Once you hit 20, you're at 30+ instantly and can just hop into a raid. That is another like hour to grab gear and you're off again.

Really, what else do you have to do during the week? Tuesday and Wednesday you're doing raid and weekly / nightfall and then you're done.

I was in a group last night who ran through twice and won easily both times. They did something I didn't see many groups do, they have people pop supers on/near the rock on the left side of the map where the thralls come out of the door. That way the guy with the sword can drop a super on Crota first hit after picking up orbs. Seemed to make it way faster.

I try and drop a weapons of light bubble up in the path, so he gets extra damage as well.



Also, I am hoping for no IB this week on Xur. I already got it, so screw everyone else. >_>
