I'm doing it :) As soon as its uploaded I'll post a link. I got about half a dedicated server I can give.

I got a consistent 1.13M/s downloading to my server. :D

If you need a mirror, I might throw one up.

None needed... they files that I put up are the ones that another ater supplied (the old commericials) I do not have the new 2004 onces, RossMan is responsible for those.

Yes, but you don't have the superbowl-commercials.com domain name like Ross would be using.:p

Yup, he wins there, but I have more bandwidth to give up :p. But, yes the current ones RossMAN should be getting as I have no way of doing so.

So, who is on "P" and who is on "B"? With the amount of bandwith that has gone out I would have figured that at least one person would have gotten everything....

BTW I've gone through all of them and everything should be in sync. If anyone getting them from me finds any out of sync, let me know and I'll fix it....

might I also suggest that you put a index.htm out there in your 2004 folder and remove it later once all the files are complete so you don't get a bunch of wasted bandwidth from unfinished files?

Good idea.

Since I totally suck at HTML, would you mind creating a simple index.htm for me?

<html><head><title>Superbowl Commercials</title></head></html>

save that as index.htm (or default.htm or whatever the default loading page you have set for)

that should do it for now :)

Should I put that in the main public_html or public_html/2004/ folder?

both.

that way, if they just goto the main webpage, they get blank page, but if they knew the 2004 folder existed, they still get a blank page.

I'll just keep it in the main page then.

If I put it in the 2004 directory, it won't display all the commercials.

I thought that was our objective?

Not to show the links to the commercials now, so people won't try to download incomplete files wasting the bandwidth. Then once the files are completely uploaded, delete the index.htm file, thus showing the links again.

still no blank file up there yet though?

I am a real lazy ass but thankfully your prodding was just what I needed.

Logged into cPanel -> File Manager -> public_html -> create new file -> text file with the HTML you provided -> saved it as index.htm -> copied to public_html/2004/ directory

BOOM BADA BING!
