Go Big Blue show what you can do!

This will be an interesting matchup..

ESPN's EA Sports prediction says: California 42, USC 35.

Spread is 5.5 in favor of USC last time I checked.

As a lifetime Cal fan, I'll say this:

If Cal had won last week, I could almost guarantee that they lose to USC. Now that Cal lost last week, I think Cal has a better than average chance of winning this week.

Go Cal!!!

Offensively, who does Cal have?

Lynch... and that's it. USC has the best run D in the Pac-10.

We've got Jarrett, Smith, Washington... and Davis.

USC offense this year is lackluster. Cal's offense leads the Pac-10, but I gotta say our D blows and we have nothing like what we had during the 2004 season. Special teams have improved and SC lacks Bush so there won't be any wild punt returns probably. DeSean will be a threat to SC though.

But with the SC defense so good, I think it will be tough for Cal to score so easily. Lynch is not gonna be running wild, and Jackson will onyl have a few crazy receptions.

Interesting game to watch though considering only Cal was able to contain Reggie Bush last year.

It will be very interesting. I think USC will pull out out a close one. USC defense is showing signs of improvement. I think it all comes down to if and how much usc is going to slow down the running game of cal

Because all these college football games can be determined by "history".

LOL - I too had the same feeling - if they beat Arizona they'd lose to USC. I feel better about their chances now though.

Go Bears!!!!

go Cal! Although Cal always has the potential, it's hard to have faith in their consistency in beating out teams that matter.
