So, looks like Bogart will come with, not only updates to fix stuff, but also THREE NEW MODES.

I know someone here was bitching that there was no online road rage, but its being added (free!)
The first is online "Stunt Run," an 8-player competition where players compete for the highest score within a two minute time limit. An 8-player team event, "Online Road Rage," will also be added; in this mode, one team of "runners" attempts to reach checkpoints, with the other team attempting to take them down. Finally, "Marked Man" makes its way to the online space -- in 90 second intervals, one player is chosen as the marked man, ith other players attempting to take him/her down.

I hate to revive this thread, but I just got this game over the weekend and have to say that all of my worries were gone within the first ten minutes of playtime. I thought that it would absolutely suck not having a "retry event" option, or a "jump to event" option, but it doesn't. And the freedom to simply drive around and smash billboards and fences is liberating in a racing game. The only thing that is really missing is multilayer on a single console.
 
this will have me pick the game back up for a bit. stopped playing after i got the burnout license. looks great.
 
Old thread bump. I just got the game and I love it. I've spent probably 75% of my time just looking for stuff, so I only have an A license but have 380 smashes and 110 billboards. I actually just found the airport and damn that one jump is tough. I've tried at least 20 times. I think it might be time to switch to a better handling car.
 
This is cool. I hope my stupid Xbox is working by then. I bought the Elite, assuming it would have lower incidences of RROD, but didn't help me out.
 
Just won a copy of Paradise on ebay, stoked to play it (although I've got like 6 games I need to play now).

Ya, it'll be on both consoles. Last I heard, the ETA is August on the motorcycles and night-time racing.

the new Cagney patch is out right now for PS3, and comes out Monday for 360. this is going to get me back online on burnout paradise.

if anyone got it on PS3 yet can you comment on it plz?
 
I've been on vacay for 2 weeks in Kauai and just got back yesterday morning. I come back to Diablo III announced, in-game XMB and trohpies, a Quake Live beta invite and now this?

Man, what else did I miss! :laugh:

Got the game two weeks ago, it's alot of fun but you can only crash so many times before some of the luster rubs off...I'll stick with it though.
