Germans are simply outmatched. They don't have playmakers they way Brazil does.
I think German should be proud with their 2nd place finish.

Germans played extremely well but the Brazilian defense was strong and the Brazilian goalkeeper should be credited for his outstanding performance also. They had so many close attempts but just didn't connect into any goals.

Those who call Germans "horrid" must have been asleep throughout the game. Especially during much of the first half, it looked as though Germany would win.
