Last night my local news reported Torre was interested in staying around past this season. Wonder how true that is.
 
It was/is nice to see the Yankees last place in the standings (alphabetical order hurts them). Unfortunately that will change--well, the alphabetical part won't but the last place surely will. Too bad.

Nice to see BYK and Ortiz have a nice game today, although the outcome wasn't what I would've liked to see.

The Yanks seal their fate first when they visit Fenway a month from tomorrow, April 16. Damn, can't wait for that. I should have my new 36" Sony flatscreen by then (or whatever tv I decide to buy, still undecided between that and a Mitsu 55").
