One more question, Does Walmart typically hand out tickets?

nope, they open the doors, tell you which corner of the store the hot items are piled in, and it's a free for all

How exactly will that work with the Plasma's? I cant really just pick it up :D

are you serious? that bites. i think ill have a better chance at bestbuy then since they do pass out tickets. i prefer the first come first serve than a mob when the doors open.

What? That's crazy.....that is gonna be one big wrestling match. ATleast that means you could show up 5 min before opening and still go FTW!

There's a chance since most people will probably ASSUME they open at 5-6AM like everyone else.

Thanks Sluggo!

So the $199 laptop ends up costing $378.40 after AOL 1 year.

Very nice deal.

Hmmm, my bad. I linked to the details of the CompUSA/AOL offer.

I cant imagine that the CC offer is much different.

I think I will go to CC and pick up the laptop. For $378 and change, it's gotta better screen (from what I've read on other forums), more HD space (60GB vcs 40GB), and twice as much ram (512 vs 256).

The Microcenter one has rebates, but I might just have to go get one if I can't get one at CC.

Uh-wrong forum? :p

On a serious note: Do you think shopping in crowded stores significantly increases one's chances of catching a bug?

question about rebates... ordered the Polaroid DVD Player @ Circuit City 3 times (3 different credit cards, 3 online transactions) but they are all the same home address for billing... but it will be in-store pickup.

I know usually the rebates are 1 per household, but we do have 3 home addresses to use when we send away the rebate. Will that work ?

Can someone clarify Staples Palm Tungsten E + 256 MB Creative MP3 player deal? Just looked at the ad again and it clearely states Tungsten E. However this model has been long discontinued and replaced with Tungsten E2. Is there a typo in Staples circular and the deal is for E2? If so, I'm going to get in on it.
