Can someone clarify Staples Palm Tungsten E + 256 MB Creative MP3 player deal? Just looked at the ad again and it clearely states Tungsten E. However this model has been long discontinued and replaced with Tungsten E2. Is there a typo in Staples circular and the deal is for E2? If so, I'm going to get in on it.

Does anyone know for sure if the Walmart HP laptop is CPU upgradable? I know the Toshibas are hardwired celerys. If the HP let's me upgrade the CPU I gotta go for it.

Walmart is being typical Walmart. Like the previous post said anyone can go to walmart.com, type in their zip code, pick a store, and see the ad.

In the smaller towns (like my 70546 zip) the laptop cost is $488. The larger towns (like 70506) the price is $379. I guess wally world doesn't see competition in smaller towns where I live (basically the ONLY major store in town) and the price difference is reflected. They do this all the time - that's why WalMart (and Sam's Club) will have the same identical item for different prices.

Good Hunting!

That AND they have special model #'s for a lot of their products, like that laptop at Wal-Mart ends with wm, a deal with HP that makes it so Wal-Mart doesn't EVER have to prcie match it, because its a WM model, that's somehow different

Dammmm...someoen told me they had these noise czanceling headohine from phillips and they were 50% off of the 74.99 price.ANyone have anyidea which store this is? I looked all over, but I found nothing.

edit: they are not the ones from officemax....

Are any of the stores (besides Walmart which is open 24/7 anyway) doing any midnight specials? There's no way I'll be getting up early to fight the crowds (to buy things I only marginally need anyway.)

So I'm going to ask: Has anyone heard of any store having a sale on a 17 or 19in LCD? Thats good quality😀?

Update: Staples has a Samsung 19'' LCD monitor on sale for $199.
Flyer online
the specs that they list:

*Up to 1280 x 1024 resolution

*600:1 contrast ratio

*MagicBright and MagicTune technologies

*Built-in power supply

*Compatible with PC, Macintosh and Sun Microsystems

*$329.98 - $73 instant savings - $57 easy rebate = 199.94

Then is shows this number in small text: 914V/619514
---------------------------------------------------------------
It doesn't list some specs that I'd kinda like to know, as in the Pixel Pitch, etc.

I have a sister that lives by a staples and she wants to know if I wanted her to pick one up tomorrow. Do you think I should get it?
