$299 AR laptop and $99 desktop at compusa 😀 Confirmed 😀 Plus tons of free after rebate stuff. 😀

Is that laptop for $300 after rebate or $400 without any rebate? Hot damn, I don't really need one but it would be nice to be able to surf in bed using my wireless router and the laptop and it wouldn't be bad to have one anyway. For $300 I think I'd hit it.

Garlic, you seem to be in the know. Are those specs I listed correct for the lappy? I don't suppose you would reveal your source for us, would you?

How gay. It's true the laptop at CompUSA ia $299 BUT after signing up for a YEAR or AOL! Forget this one.

I think I'd pay not to have AOL even if it were free. That almost makes it an up-the-butt deal.

Black Friday.....always spend way more than I should 🙂

On Black Friday, I buy only freebies after rebate so I pay only tax on rebate checks. This is my only expense on BF.

Some goodies from crapusa are...

hitachi 160gb SATA drive fro $19.99 AR
logitech bluetooth headset $9.99 AR
4gb 1" USB hard drive $49.99 AR
few other hard drive deals.

Garlic-
Where did u the compusa deals from?

EDIT: Nvm found most arent all that good considering rebate, u can get that same semp lappy for $400 no rebates at walmart on BF.

The BFADS and all the other Black Friday sites are driving me crazy. There are rumored Best Buy deals right now that make absolutely no sense ($899 Toshiba 51in HDTV, sure). It seems as if we all won't know exactly what stuff is really for sale until like 1-2 days before, then it will all be out of stock when we show up.

*sigh* Better stop complaining I guess. It's still my favorite shopping day of the year. Actually, it's about my only shopping day of the year.

anybody know if the laptop will be upgradeable it sez online too and i want to be able to add options nnamely a graphic card and a 64bit processor i can just rely on newegg for the dvd writer

damn, when are the compusa/bb/cc ads gonna start leaking out. 🙁

I wanna get in that lappy deal, but from what I am hearing the wm (walmart) series will lack the extras that the ze2308EA (HP OEM) version has. (HP's version has bluetooth, Intel Wireless, 40GB and DVD/CDRW combo.) I am also worried that it warranty issues will have to be taken up with walmart directly.

I hope that cusa/bb/cc will have a similar offer, as walmart wouldnt be my first choice for a lappy. :|

Uh, warranty issues go throught the manufacture not where you bought it from. Unless you get an extended warranty. You're on your own unless it doesn't work right out of the box for the most part.

A 51 inch Toshiba CRT Rear Projection TV for $899 is not all that hard to believe. CRT RPTV is fading as LCD and DLP take over.

Anyone verify this... heard from a friend as Comp that they must be there (will announce) to be open at midnight Black Friday to sell X360's?
