I think it's ridiculous that Florida will play for the National Championship with a loss to a UNRANKED OLE MISS TEAM!

Mississippi is ranked.

They weren't when they beat Florida. Ranking at the time of the game matters, not 9 games later.

looks like a bunch of pretty good matchups, bama is probably going to slaughter utah though, utah is crazy overrated imo. (boise is better)

I'm not really excited by any of these matchups, other than FL vs Okla

I wish we could've seen any combination of Alabama/Texas/USC instead in one of the bowls

the outcomes seem so one-sided 🙁

If you only knew.

If he only knew what? The only people that care that Tech beat Texas are people from Tech, nobody else gives a rats ass.

:sick;

texas is close enough in the AP to OU that if OU wins a squeaker in a sloppy game over floriduh and texas blows out ohio state, the AP might just give it to texas. i also want all the SEC honks to stfu. so i'm torn.

alabama-utah looks interesting. i'll tune in for that one.

i suspect vt vs cincinnati is going to be the lowest rated bull crap system game ever. they may as well just play it on december 27.

And the only reason nobody else cares is because OU raped the shit out of Texas Tech. If Texas Tech had won that game they'd be in the NCG...if they had played and lost a close game much like Texas did in their loss to Texas Tech, then they wouldn't have been so easily written off in the discussion...yet because OU blows them out of the water, suddenly it is ok to cast them aside as irrelevant?

Fact of the matter is a 3 way tie occurred, and even logical tie breaking procedures (such as those used by the NFL) would have OU coming out on top thanks to their better out of conference strength of victory and schedule.

Nope. End of season ranking ends up meaning more than when the game is played.
