Texas can't recover losing McCoy. Almost no one in a championship game like this can make up from losing their leader and heisman candidate.

I'm not watching but I'm reading. If you get hit hard, you gotta sit out for a play or two. They make sure you're still OK. I remember watching SC play before and Matt Leinart got hit HARD. He was definitely out for a bit. He came back in and he threw an INT in no time. Don't remember if they sat him down, but he depended on Reggie Bush for most of the game after that.

For one play and only if you cause a injury time out. Most of the time hard hit players get back up and shake it off, or trot of the field. And sometimes maybe on average once a game. A player stays down and causes official timeout.

In mccoys case, he got hit not that hard. Got up, walked off the field, walked to locker room and comes out without his gear and a hard look. With his hair all gelled up lmao.

He is exactly what i expected him to be against a real defense.

And bama is looking like they have all year, minus SEC championship game, on defense and offense.

Whole hell of a lot of football left. Bama is most certainly not dominating either side of the ball right now. I have no stake in the game, just love football. Just saying don't count your chickens, whole lotta football left.

Big advantage bama though with mccoy out. Then again what do they say about defense and championships?

-edit-
LOL! Just seems like I just stuck my big foot in my big mouth. TD bama on a 50 yard run.

Seems like Bama finally found their stride and Texas is just demoralized with McCoy out. Hopefully they turn it around in the second half. Seeing McCoy's father going back there to see his son definitely didn't seem good.

Could you troll a little harder. He got hit blind on his throwing shoulder by a 300+ pound guy running at almost full speed. If the same thing happed to you while you sat there pounding away on your keyboard you'd be lucky to be able to scrape yourself off the floor let alone trot to the locker room for xrays.

Me too just love football, hate both teams. Never minded texas to much, really dont like mccoy (if you couldnt tell lol).

Im actually a florida student and was at the SEC game last two years. This year sucked ass. Last year was awesome. But its not possible to dominate the SEC for to long and i knew that.

I think/thought this game would be all bama, putting a smack down on texas with their defense. While there offense would be so so. I thought score would be 35-10 bama. Now im thinking 28-9 lol err 38-9

Quoted. There's only been 22 minutes of football played and you're already calling it. You know what happens when you do that.

Texas knocking on the door at bama 32. AND AWESOME PLAY call by texas, shoulda been 6.

Bama intercepts the ball from the rookie quarterback?

Texans need a stop here or at least a FG to keep it close. Luckily they get the ball starting the 2nd half but they need something positive going into the second half.
