LOL. I disagree - KC sauce is usually more brown sugar, molasses, etc. However, feel free to propose a better description of TX sauce and I will happily consider it![]()

real texas bbq (the kind of the german immigrants in central texas) uses no sauce. sauce is purely optional, and only really provided for you amatuers who expect ketchup thrown onto your meat.

The only heavily tomato based sauce I can think of is Rudy's, and thats a chain and not really representative of Texas BBQ.
