Arsenal continued their unbeaten streak today with an 2-0 win over Aston Villa. Henry put in a free kick and a penalty to get both goals in the game. Arsenal=4 trophies this year. You heard it here first.

Arsenal also reclaimed the top of the standings as Man U lost to Wolves :Q . Oh well.. sucks to be Man U.

Who are you rooting for?

THIS WEEKEND IN THE PREMIERSHIP (1/17-1/18)

Saha's dream move
Wondering about Henry's controversial free kick? Wonder no more. It was legal.
BBCs Team of the Week

I think I'm gonna try to update this weekly on Sundays, after most of the week's games are over. Let's keep this active. We've obviously got some Premiership followers (granted you all like Man U :brokenheart: ), so let's keep this going.

I am a casual Man U fan. Having grown up here in the states, following English soccer closely is hard. I follow Man. U. because my brother is a fan and my father is a fan. My dad can still recite the starting line-up of the 1963 FA Cup Winning team...

They were also kind enough to come here to the states so I could see them play last year... pics

Was that game sold out? I was in Scotland when they had their tour and I got so close to seeing Arsenal vs. Rangers in Ibrox Stadium. I saw Fulham vs. Livingston instead.

I live in the states as well, but I'm an avid fan.

SoccerNet

BBC Sports

Both are very good sites for keeping up British soccer. Both are updated almost immediately. SoccerNet is run by ESPN.

Yes, that game was sold out. It was the first ever sporting event at the new Lincoln Financial Field in Philly, where the Eagles are going to kick the ass of the Panthers later today! 😀

Also, I know you can get the scores and the like on the web, but not getting to see highlights and games sucks. I live in Hoboken on the NJ side of the Hudson and if I lived just the other side of the river (in NYC) I would get Fox Sports World on cable TV and could get to see games, etc... 🙁

Who did Man U play that day? I almost was going to go to the game in Giants Stadium.

Can't believe we lost to Wolves yesterday.

Sucks for you. The little drug-abuser Ferdinand didnt have a very good ending either, huh? 😉

Nicee.. too bad they sold Becks before they started their tour. He was one of the only players I really wanted to see.

Just wanted to say HEY to all the fellow EPL followers here on ATOT.
(I was born in London, England and moved to the US when i was 16, i used to support West Ham when i was about 7-10.. Later i became a Liverpool supporter).

Right now.. i'm just a casual observer.. but i like Man U because of the wealth of talent that they have and the fact that almost anyone of that team can score.. Ronaldo is incredibly fast with his feet . fun to watch.

I nearly began a thread titled 'Any Soccer fans.. Man U defeated by Wolves'.. then i decided against it.. thinking that i would upset too many of you :Q

One thing that upsets me is that Fox Sports Network shows games on random days in inconvenient timeslots.. and that PPV package offered by the satellite companies is abysmal.. i would shell out anywhere up to $250 for at least 4/5 good games a week.. guess that will never happen.. 🙁

Question: Charlton Athletic is in fourth place.. are they really that good.. or is the quality of teams ranked lower them that jus crappy ?

4 trophies? Are you nuts. Arsenal sucks in Europe. Theyll bow out of the Champs League shortly.

Man U already took the Charity Shield from them. I say Manu gets a double again.

Ha! The Charity Shield.. Nobody even remembers that.. let alone cares.. 😉

Arsenal sucks in Europe? I will direct you to their 5-1 win against Inter. The way they have been playing right now is absolutely amazing, and they havent had the chance to show their skills to all of Europe like they've been showing the FA. They had a slow start in the Champions League, but you wait. True, the chances of the trophy are farfetched.. But it could happen, and it looks more likely every day. If they dont get the trophy, I'll give you top eight. Better than last year. As far as four trophies goes, let me clarify: Champions League, Premiership, FA Cup, and Carling Cup.

Yeah, if there was a good channel where I could get Premiership games pretty regularly, I'd order cable. Til then, cable is a no go.

I'm a life long Liverpool supporter, and I do think they are doing terrible this season. Houllier is a joke, there's players I would be most gladly like to take out of the squad, like Diouf, Biscan, Traore and Smicer. Celtic's O'Neill would be a great manager to get and sort things out.

It's gonna be tight between Chelsea, Man Utd, and Arsenal... but I think if Henry stays fit, Arsenal may just pip it.

Oh, and the Champions League is starting again soonish 🙂

When Aliadiere is back, he should definitely play up top with Henry. Bergkamp is getting too old.
