It keeps going back and forth from Notify Me to Add to Cart. But when you add to cart the next page says your card is empty. Must be a very limited release. Probably only a couple thousand units per country.

Just got back from the bathroom, reloaded the 16gb page and added it to my cart. The next page said that my cart is empty.

It took 10 minutes to sell out? WTF?

I "just" placed my order for the 16... so I don't think it is oos

8 GB is still in stock.

Dammit, I knew I shouldn't actually done that work related stuff... In one place in Europe I think it started at 8:30. So, I tried it at about 11:32 and got nothing. Left, and came back 13 minutes later to see it was sold out. Or else it seems so since it says "Coming Soon".

Now when I try to access the page, the site throws up an error.

Finally got it into my cart, but clicking on proceed doesn't do anything.

You'd think that f*cking google could handle this type of server load :rolleyes:

So I had a few issues and it was all very sluggish and I had to reload my page once, and kill the browser and start over once, but I got it in.

You could always try phoning:
1-855-83-NEXUS (1-855-836-3987)

If I couldn't get it to work in ~2 more minutes, I was going to call.

I did, I even added it to my cart, clicked proceed, had the google wallet pop-out to select address and payment. Working fine for me.

No confirmation email yet, but it's showing in my GW transactions, two-day shipping should have it in my hands on Friday.

Maybe there are different allocations for Canada. I'm in Canada, and both the 8 GB and 16 GB models are listed as "Coming Soon" now, and the 16 GB was "Coming Soon" before others were ordering, presumably from the US.

P.S. I never got a notification email.

Isn't this why pre-orders exist? Isn't Google a web company? How can a web company fail so hard at something so basic? Google is just about as bad at commerce as Apple is at cloud services...

I ordered the 16GB version and yeah, I sort of hammered on the proceed button. Every time it errored out, I opened a new window and tried again. Took me maybe 6 tries.

I'm guessing that there will be a staggered release. I highly doubt that we are out of luck this early.
