This is me jumproping in a hard hat. This is me enanging in a somewhat more productive activity. Please excuse the context but these are all I could find at the moment.

Btw it's great to see everyone actually has a face and all, its less ackward that way.

If anyone can point me to an XP driver for a Microtek Slimscan C6 scanner that actually works and is not from the usual Googled suspects (have had no luck there) then I'll post a pic.

Oh, and CAD, that pic of you is at least ten years and quite a few pounds in the past -- I saw your beautiful and more recent pics of you and your family when they were still up on your site.

Alchy, I feel dissed you didn't include me in your must see list. I'm quite fetching!

For you liberals that don't recognize the word "work" it's what those of us who don't live of the government's tits do in order to get paid. 😉

you need a desk 😛
Nah...have one....that pic was taken after a lunch/presentation I had to give.

Perky, Zebo, Lunar - Apologies for not including you on the list. Definitely on "the list" of folks I would want to see!

BBZZDD going super slow I can't seem to load anything right now 🙁

Just an FYI, creating an MSN Group is free and you can put photos up. The free accounts have a 3 MB limit, but hey, that should be enough!

install the drivers from the website, and then install the software that came with the scanner

-or-

install the Win2k drivers

Those are the only solutions I could dig up. Sounds like Microtek kicked its Slimscan users to the curb

Hey, cool, another cigar guy. We should post pictures of our humidors next! 😀

Don_Vito
Actually when I was in theater, we had some Delta guys come through, and they wore all-tan uniforms (no camo), with velcro name tapes that had nothing but their blood type on them. Kinda spooky somehow.
Yeah, those guys are kinda spooky, Captain. 😉 I should post some pics from my Navy days. Yeah I know, Navy. Don't laugh! 😀

Did you see the date stamp on the "family" one? 12/27/03 😉 It's actually a more recent pic than the one you would have seen as I haven't updated the pictures on my site in well over a year.

Oh, and nobody wants to see your mug so we left you off the list! :Q j/k

As long as we're getting all touchy-feely, here I am with the always-handsome Vito Corleone (his name came before mine).

Holy Cow!!!! That cat is a killer! What's he eat? Jack Russells?

Yeah, he's the biggest cat I've ever seen. Keep in mind in looking at that picture that I'm 6'4". He has no fat and he's something like 17-18 pounds. He has muscle structure more like a dog, and extra toes, so he more or less has opposable thumbs. Another pic of the boy.

I wonder if he is a Maine my excellent compatriot Cat. The males tend to average 20 lbs. 😱

He may be part Maine my excellent compatriot (though he looks like a plain old Tabby to me, and he has short hair - aren't MCs longhaired?); I don't really know. A Japanese friend of mine once told me that cats with a swirled pattern (like Vito's), as opposed to regular stripes, are the most prized cats in Japan, because they're supposed to be the best pets. Vito is indeed amazing - he fetches, and is generally amazingly clever, loyal, and friendly.

Cleverness is not necessarily a good trait in a cat. My cat knows how to turn on the lights---which is what she does to rouse me outta bed when she feels it's time for me to wake up. This is probably the single most likely reason for my glowing and effervescent personality.

My cat likes to play "fetch" too. Usually its "go fetch me some tuna or turkey, chop chop!"

Her favorite playtime activity is the cat fishing pole: A cheapo rod and reel I attached one of those cheap fuzzy mice to as "bait". I cast that thing off the loft on the 2nd floor and that cat goes crazy stalking and chasing that mouse.

She also likes to play "tag" with me, and she does know and play by the rules. It must take an amazing amount of trust or fearlessness on her part to play tag with a comparative Godzilla. One wrong step and she's toast.
