Time Attack #1:

Track: Laguna Seca
Car: Nissan SKYLINE GT-R, original (R34), 327hp, 1540kg model.

Current Fastest Lap: swtethan- 1:37.250

Official Rules

1) Drive in Arcade/Time Attack Mode

2) ALL driver assistance are OFF. Tires are SPORTS/MEDIUM. Just leave the car as-is and turn off the ACS stuff.

3) Do not ride the rails/take shortcuts.

4) Post track time with some sort of picture of the race summary.

5) Winner will pick a new course for next race. Courses cannot be repeated.

6) Cars will be voted by a poll. I'll put polls of country/theme of the cars available. I'll try to find cars that are available to everyone

7) Race is over on Dec 3, 11:59PM, or after 72 hours when nobody can beat their own time.

8) Feel free to repost faster lap times before the race is over, with a screen cap of course.

9) The player who has most wins is the champ. I'm thinking 11 races, with Nurburgring as the grand finale.

Post any suggestions/comments!

thinking of either a screen cap or just purely on faith? i guess faith is not a good idea on ATOT :p we'd all get syringer'ed by some guy who claims a 1:34 on the infenion driving a volvo 240 wagon

seriously though i would really love to start something like this... i think we started one in betacars (or some car forum) and it just slowly died.

the idea is we all drive the same car, on a same track, under same conditions, and we see who's the fastest over a course of a week or so...

prize... i guess i can only afford a beer and a cookie. maybe a kiss as well.

oh as for forza... i wonder how many people play forza... i don't =(

I'd be game.

We should do something a little quirky though, us being ATOT and all...

I recommend the challenge to be any van on the Nordschleife. Second choice: stock Prius on Silverstone :)

I still play GT4. Trying to finish it, at like 87%.

Who else agrees that the opel speedster is the biggest POS ever.

Hmmm...the two games have some cars and some tracks in common. Comparing each game's interpretation of the cars and tracks could be fun :)

A good example, the Vauxhall VX220 (Speedster clone) is awesome in Forza

i sorta gave up after the A license. now i just drive my favorite car once in a while for fun.

as for the speedster... i guess i'll have to check that out. but the alfa 147GTA was a disappointment for me.

edit: excellent ideas bomberman! are the conditions same for forza? such as default tires, driving assist and such?

I tuned the Opel to what they said on GTP forums and had it fully modified and the computers would still be right on my ass in the manufacture race. B-spec was even worse.

You just had to start this when exams are about to start... damn youuuuz! :p

I'll try and participate if I have time. How about a photo of the time attack as proof? Certainly most people have a digicam or a camera phone? Hell I can record the whole thing with my p&s camera. :p


Oh yah.. and obvious rules like no riding the rails and cutting across track. :p
