finish basement, change walk out balcony doors, ceiling fans, attic fan.... ideally, the basement would be first.. but right now, probably ceiling fans as I don't have 15k lyin around for the basement 🙁

removing the ugly white rocks from the front of the house, moving them to the side of the house, putting weed guarding liner on the ground, tacking down with fabric pegs, putting down the pine bark mulch.

only a couple of loads of rocks left. should be able to finish this saturday, weather-willing.

If you can do it yourself it's not so bad.

We just finished remodeling the bathroom. It turned out awesome.

Finishing the damn house I started building 3+ years ago. Almost done. I'll never do this again. Too much work doing it all yourself and maintaining a job. If there is ever a next time, it's prefab for me baby.

Grading the side near the house

Cleaning out the swimming pool

Painting the rooms/finish cleaning before we move in

put some batting down in the attic

tear out some bushes in the side

tear out the huge elevated playhouse in the back and get rid of it and the dog house (anyone want a big shedlike playhouse in Wisconsin? 🙂

seal the pressboard siding on the garage (ie paint it)

Prune the trees/bushes of the neighbors that are hanging way over.

Figure out if i can setup a home theater in the basement

Just came home from vacation and found the hot water heater leaking - haven't had a chance to dig into it, but something to do with the water heater is near the top of the list. Priced new ones @ HD today 🙁

I've also brought in about 60 cubic yards of pine mulch over the last few weekends. My yard is nothing but clay & sand, so it's now covered about 2-4 inches deep in mulch. I've blown about 10 gallons of roundup on it as well (with more on the way) to kill the weeds. So in a few weeks I'm gonna rototill the mulch in and try to develop some topsoil.

Of course, at some point I have to finish the 1400 ft^2 addition I started spring of 2002 (and haven't worked on since fall of 2003).

I just finished tiling my bathroom shower. Hunched in that stall for hours almost killed me.

Stripping and painting the south side of the house is up next.
