Bleach is getting better and better. Naruto is just getting weak, even in the manga. I think the mangaka getting lazy or something.
 
anyone know any thought proking anime?, or mature animes? that were released this past season? havent had a chance to research every single one. i would appreciate it if anyone who is keeping up with teh current releases could recommend a few.

It certainly looks like it. I started downloading it this morning. I have yet to see what it contains -- it's a multi-part rar file. It's supposed to be the movie with English subtitles, but I don't know if it was fansubbed, or if the subtitles are from some DVD or what.

edit: It looks like it is the movie. I glanced through it. The quality is okay, not great.
 
if you read the comments. it says the subs towards the end are out of sync. but i think ill chance it. i've been dying to watch this for awile.

there's also one by Indy which is avi with a .srt file for subs.

One thing about FMA (the series) is that it was never slow. Unfortunately, I've found this movie to be a little slow -- at least the first twenty minutes or so. As a result, I haven't finished it and I can't say if the subs go out of sync at the end. One thing I noticed is a strange habit for misspelling that makes me think that the subs were ripped through some OCR tool. The misspelled words are not typical of a typo -- they more look like the mistakes you would get with OCR. The overall shape of the words are almost correct, but the letters are wrong.
 
meh, i was going to pickup the FMA VCD in Taiwan, then I got distrcted when I saw Ichigo 100% action figures. The irony is that I didn't even buy the action figures as they were randomly packaged and costs about $4.80 each.

Also saw the Naruto & Lamune PS2 games.
 
[indy] version of FMA movie seemed ok. it did seem like some translations here and there were missed. but overall, i was okay. dont know how accurate the translations were since i dont know japanese but everything seemed to make sense.

quality of the video seems alittle grainy (HI-RAW) but it was ok.

i used irfanview to watch since it was an .avi + .srt & didnt want to install vobsub.

what version did you watch madddogchen?
 
I don't know which version but it was an avi+.srt and yeah there were a few lines missed in the movie, but it was okay for me because i know a little bit of japanese to guess at what they were saying.
 
a redone version of the ending of Gundam Seed Destiny, EP 51 Final Plus RAW is out. Cant wait for it to be subbed. I was reading that it had about 10 minutes extra of the aftermath.

yeah the FMA movie got really jacked around the last 20 min for about 10 min. at around 100 min, it started playing subs from around 80 min and would fastforward the subs till it got synced around 110 min. it's not too bad, you don't miss that much dialogue...

hmm. the [Indy] version didnt do that for me. it seemed to be syched the whole movie. or at least i didnt notice.

and yeah. im psyched about the GSD ep. Also on animesuki forums, theres a rumor that there will be an Gundam Seed 3 series.

The same thing happened for me.

I did also end up downloading the Indy version. I reencoded it with the subs hardcoded into the video -- my guess is that that's the only way it's going to play for my brother who tends to watch his anime on a standalone player. If anyone else is interested in the hardcoded subs, I can upload it to someone.
