you must be thinking chrono trigger, not chrno crusade. have you seen the show? the chibi-devil's name is chrno. i cant believe you havnt heard name his once when rossette yells it out so many times in just one episode.

i need a new anime series to start (preferrably already completed). i'm watching/watched samurai champloo, samurai 7, naruto, bleach, monster, tried some GITS SAC 1 (its ok, but i've only seen two eps - maybe it gets better later on?)...

any suggestions that are similar to some of the anime i've mentioned above?

i've been there and its still hard for me to pick which ones to choose from that list

edit: ok. im gonna try elfen lied. only 13 eps so far though... more ideas!!

Tsubsasa Chro. is developing very nicely. DB/L-E does it.

basically all the mentioned ones on page 1 by anubis is awesome

Okay, well, as far as anime similar to the ones you listed... Full Metal Alchemist, Ruroni Kenshin, Record of Lodoss War, Macross, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop... if you're looking for garbage like Naruto there's always Inuyasha. Same vein of neverending fight anime. Note that I don't necessarily endorse the shows I listed, but they are some of the most prolific.

The Naruto manga is pretty good...

I made it through only episode 3 of GITS SAC 1, but I heard that right after that a more cohesive story line picks up and it gets a lot better. It may be worth trying that for a few more episodes.

ok. so i've got full metal panic and elfen lied to watch, in addition to the previously mentioned GITS SAC 1. That's enough for now i guess.

i've started watching elfen lied and while the story is interesting and the action is crazy, wtf is up with the excessive nudity. jesus. i can understand its use in some places, but come on.....

Yeah there really is just a ton of useless nudity in there, lots of ecchi stuff.

interesting. i just finished elfen lied. up till eps 12 i thought the series was sh1tty. however, they did end well on eps 13. still, ranks on the low end of the series i've seen (another somewhat sh1tty anime i've seen in the past was noir).

onto another series.....

elfen lied is actually one of my favorites... i even bought the boxset...
