Signed up. Like SunnyD, I probably went a little overboard with information, but it seems like that's not too much of an issue.

This will be my first time. Sounds like it will be exciting trying to find an appropriate gift.

Yeah, if mine does not have enough info, let me know and I can change it. My thing is my interests are quite minimal, but I really am happy with getting anything.

Most of you are doing WAY better on information than years prior... We appreciate that.

alfa147x, I don't see your submission... Don't know if you filled it out or not yet but just wanted to let you know.

SWEET, this'll be my 3rd year. I don't really browse ATOT that much anymore but I came back just to participate!

EDIT: actually, this will be my 4th year.

Signing up for my 1st time right now.

I feel like an idiot asking this though, is there a min/max/suggested dollar amount?

Edit: Oh I see now ~$20ish. Makes sense and that's what I figured.

Form submitted. I'm ashamed I have been here 10 years and never done this.
Thanks to those putting it on. It goes to prove once again that ATOT, while trolls and idiots may now prevail, was founded on, and still has a ton of awesome members.

You should be ashamed :p This secret santa is my favorite thing about ATOT. $20 is the minimum but don't be afraid to be generous, especially if you're my Santa  There's no upper limit, I think some people have gotten relatively expensive gifts in the past. I think the stuff I've received was worth around $25-35.

I usually spend around $40 on my SS.

Dont really care how much they spend on me, but i will say I was pissed when I got a $15 woot shirt one year. Read the rules and spend at least $20!

It's a suggestion, not a rule. Given the economy last year and even this year, I wouldn't be pissed if someone only spent $10 on me. Remember, it's the thought that counts. (Though a woot shirt... yeah, that might irk me a little... :))

I don't care that much either as long as he or she puts some thought into the gift (i.e. no gift cards).

My best friend participated a couple of years ago and it was his last. His SS sent him a $25 gift card and the person he had requested one specific item, no likes or dislikes. It basically ruined the whole experience for him since he didn't get to experience picking out a gift and didn't actually receive a real gift.

Well, if people can't afford to spend the minimum, perhaps they shouldn't be participating.

In yet again. Going to be hard for my 2010 SS to top my 2009 SS (mcvickj). He did he research, and I got the best SS present to date from him.
