At 1600x1200 4xAA there is no noticable aliasing at all, 8x would be an incredible overkill.

OH WOW Nvidia found a way to cheat in 3DMark again
(Please note . . . the above is S-P-E-C-U-L-A-T-I-O-N)or maybe it isn't 😉![]()
Perhaps we should all now be expecting briefings by Nvidia's competitors that 3DMark03 isn't now a valid indicator of 3D graphics performance?
Err, my Radeon 9700 Pro can push Far Cry at 1280x1024 with just about max details

I have been on this board for awhile and have no fear (or shame) looking foolish when my predictions are "off". We'll see (but I would take bets [IF it were legal]). 😉

If I read the article correctly, nVidia and ATi will have product out in retail stores at around the same time (April 26). Now it sounds like the 6800 may be faster than the X800 Pro (assuming any of the performance rumours are to be believed), but I wonder how well the X800 XT will do. The XT is coming only 5 weeks after the X800 Pro.Originally posted by: GTaudiophile
Get ready for the likes of Anand to slam ATi for not only being late to the game (debuting their new product 13 days after nVidia) and for having an underperforming product (relative to NV40).
