Yeah, this does not deserve to be official unless you keep your first post updated with all known dates, sites, etc.
 
Those prices are depressing. No use in going dual core for me until there's software that uses it. I think I'll be waiting until next year to go dual core...hopefully the prices will be more attractive then.

You need to rephrase that until "games" or "(insert your aplication of choice) is multithreaded...Other then that is is already a vast amount of applications that are multithreaded...It is just usually for ppl who use their cpus for something more productive...

I f they are out mid June I will likely get around to getting one about mid July...I am going to be soooo busy with work in the next 3-4 weeks you guys wont be seeing much of me....

I will have one by my B-day 100% for sure in August.

I'm definity not paying over MSRP for these on principle.. Sparco is crazy acting like thier knocking off $100, it's still over retail price even after thier discount.:|

Yea Joe 4400 is hottest assuming you don't get all crazy with above MSRP. AMD lists it as only $48 above the 4200 price, as a percentage it's really insignifigant for all the extra cache x 2.

I don't know how hot they'll be.. $500+ is signifigant for many, especially AMD users not used to paying so much, but as far as I can tell everyone I've talked to is all over 4400.

haha...good point...I actually meant the software that I use (games being the only demanding one). What can I say? My computer isn't for productivity 😛
