So anyone wanting to win one of 5000 free copies of GW2 has to create a video of them saying the following oath, replacing the blanks.

I, [name], renounce [adjective] games and pledge my allegiance to Guild Wars 2. I likewise declare my freedom from [adjective] subscription fees! That I turn my back forever on [noun] which is/are totally [adjective]. That I will take up arms to defend the [noun] and crush evil with my [noun]. I take this oath to Guild Wars 2 freely, without [noun] because I am [adjective].

There is also an ad video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Epn6ZZResk#t=228 .
Not recommended for people that can't have a laugh at their own hobbies and see MMORPGs as serious business™.

I honestly cannot stand leveling in this game anymore. It's downright painful if the zones don't have a lot of players. I kind of saw the issue when I outleveled the first 3-4 zones at launch but now I never see other players out doing things and I may as well queue WvW to level, It will be faster and easier. Kind of sad I really enjoyed this game on launch and played a lot but anymore I just log on for some living story here and there and log off.

I have no such problem in my server (Desolation EU).

yep.

which server are you on?

there are at least 4 servers over here that are overpopulated.

Most dynamic events are solo-able and many of them are actually easier with less players, boredom does come into play pretty quick though. I think you're right, WvW is the best option for leveling characters at this point as long as you're on a server that isn't a total doormat. If you can find one of the karma trains then it's a beast for XP.

Also, they nerfed crafting XP so that you only get about 7 levels from 0-400. :(

Reverted my PC to stock settings because I thought I might have had an unstable OC somewhere.

Same story, 15-20 FPS, lowest settings, low ass resolution. My GPU seems to be stressed to 99% though, not sure what that's about.

So I decided not to play GW2 for a while and fired it up today after a long time. I figured maybe there was a bug in the game or in the drivers that was causing the terrible FPS.

Sadly I am still seeing terrible FPS. I am out of ideas now and it's only this game that's causing these problems so I doubt it's my components going bad.

Well, that's odd. I don't really know what to say. Your specs destroy mine (Phenom II quad and 5850) and I've never had problems with GW2. you're in a relatively empty space in that starter area, with not much going on, as well.

But even the best systems will be crippled in those GW zergs with sprites flying everywhere.
