When Talib came he not only helped out at his position he allowed Arrington to move. It was a two fer.I see that now, just read that he was the worst outside CB in the league (perfect passer rating allowed) but one of the best slot CBs.

Patriot haters love the off season when they can rag on them. Then the season starts and the Pats just win.
Year after year after year....
Heard Danny Woodhead signed with the Chargers.
Meh, I wasn't laughing at the Broncos as much as I was at AMDZen... until I just read this from Elway on ESPN:I find it humorous that Pats fans are laughing at the Broncos so hard (and yeah, sorry AMDZen, but you brought the ribbing you're getting on yourself) while ignoring the way in which the Pats were totally punked at home against the Ravens. At least the Broncos made a game of it. 😀
Steelers secondary is getting thin. If Sanders leaves that going to hurt. William Gay coming back which I think he sucks it going to be bad for the Steelers.
Dustin Keller escapes from New York. Signs with Dolphins.
Yeah yeah... I get it. I've been wanting BB to shore up the D since Rodney retired.Tell that to AMDzen, he plays for Denver now. Actually they started the season with Julian Edelmen at the slot but he had a season-ending foot injury then Hernandez went out so guess who became Brady's go-to guy. Drops or not (and the ball in the Giant SB loss was not an easy catch) Welker's a special player, simply too quick in his breaks to cover, PM will love having him as a teammate. The Patriots led the league in 2 out the last 3 years in scoring and came in third the other, did Josh Mcdickhead convince BB that Welker wasn't that important?. Scoring points hasn't been the problem, we haven't had a defense anywhere close to the days when Bruschi, Harrison, Law, Seymore were around, now we have one guy on defense (Wilfork) that's worth a fuck and he was a no-show in the Baltimore playoff loss..
Meh, I wasn't laughing at the Broncos as much as I was at AMDZen... until I just read this from Elway on ESPN:
"It's not all about dollars. But when it's way out of whack? Then it's so out of whack that you've got to say: That [salary] can't be it," Elway said Thursday, according to the Denver Post. "Especially when you look at the market and what's out there now. It's so far out of whack. Hopefully, he realizes that."
Why call Dumervil out in the media?!
Am I the only person that is on Tech's side re: Welker?
not from this being an issue of the Pats unwilling to pay what he wants, but that these organizations tend to make these decisions that while they seem rash to the fans and the media, they have a much closer notion of what is going on with these players.
meaning: they are betting on Welker being past his prime, and the cost of keeping him for one or more seasons is not expected to return the desired value. You see it all the time in baseball and football, player released at the top of their game or dealt to another team, that player suddenly turns out to be a flop going on out.
I'm not Pats fan--far from it--but to me, this is one of those situations where the wisdom in the deal probably won't be seen until the next 2 seasons.
Granted, Welker is probably going to the perfect situation for him: Manning simply doesn't have the deep arm that he used to before surgery, and a guy like Welker, if Manning can depend on him like Brady did, is likely going to fit in nicely with a QB that will have to be increasingly reliant on the slot and short pass situations.
Ugh... He's the putz that faked an injury to save a TO.Emmanuel Sanders coming to NE for a visit. With the Steelers at the cap, they could sign him for cheap and only give up a 3rd round pick for him.

Oh man... I liked me some Woodhead. Like Faulk, he was money for a first down out of the backfield.Heard Danny Woodhead signed with the Chargers.
How original...it's real clear why welker went away, the head cheatriot had a boner about him after they played contract chicken last year and he burned him.

Yeah, that might actually end up hurting the Pats more than Welker leaving.
Yeah, that might actually end up hurting the Pats more than Welker leaving. Leon Washington is a return man, plain and simple. He can't do what Woodhead did total-package wise for the Pats.

You're an idiot. How's that David Garrad signing?
