AA is saying on the radio that the pitcher wasn't coming after bagwell, the pitcher is just that bad

AA is now saying there is something on the pitcher's cap, and that the umpire is changing the strike zone

well the cardinals' pitching is imploding

he may be bad, but Tavarez started walking towards Bagwell as Bags went to first.

Darn it! Wished I could have seen it, but I'm at work and had to settle for listening to it on the radio. :(

Anyway, this is turning out to be a great series.

That's true, but watching Lidge pitch > hearing about him pitch any day of the week. Anyway, I got to watch yesterday's game, so I don't feel too cheated. :)

Geez, we need more people talking about this series than the "way past done" ALCS series.

How about Tavarez's explosion after the 7th inning? Dang, I would NOT want to be around him when he's mad. I loved Bagwell's words that he said to Tavarez after he was nearly beaned: "F--- THAT!"

How much dough will Beltran earn next year? I'm putting my money at $20mil, if not more. I haven't really kept up with baseball salaries lately...

And oh yeah, go 'Stros! "B"elieve! :)

Tavarez' meltdown was unbelievable. I am kinda surprised that LaRussa left him in afterwords. What a psycho!

Beltran will make over $15m per for the next 5 years. After A Rod, doubt too many teams will be willing to put up that kind of money.

I believe that there is a good chance that Beltran could remain here in Houston. By all accounts, he is happy here and likes his teammates. The Astros will likely match any offer on the table. They traded too much to get him to just let him go.

Heh, a torrent of him flipping out. How cool are you?:beer:

That was pretty wild. He had a rough inning and he couldn't handle it. Made for some great TV, though. Go 'Stros. :p

Top of the 2nd - still 0 on both

Game delayed (I'm sure) because they were hoping & praying the Yanks & Red Sox would finish it up before 8:00 ET. Glad they finally started the NLCS game even though it was 45 minutes late.
