*official* A's vs. Tigers thread

Looks like the two underdogs in the American League will move on, with both teams moving on rather convincingly with a few huge wins by Detroit, and the A's not having trailed at all against Minnesota.

This one is very hard to tell considering few experts would've guessed both of these teams would meet in the LCS since the start of the playoffs..much less from the beginning of the season, but there's no way I can turn my back against my A's, especially since they will have home field advantage.

A's in 6.

i'm not enough of a baseball junkie to break down the matchup.......but the Tigers in the World Series. man, imagine saying that just a year ago, LOL.

You'd be in a clinic if you were to even suggest this idea back in May.

 You are so right

Zito is getting hit pretty hard and his defense is not helping much. Tigers are up by 5 runs.

Zito is done and didn't get past the 4th inning.

A's had men on second and third with nobody out and couldn't bring any of them home. Robertson did a nice job getting out of the inning.
