I'm thinking Scotty and....Lauren? hard to say. But Scotty should be a finalist. He's kinda got his career int eh bag at this point.

lame show tonight. Lol--I think Haley had the best performance, easily. :awe:

I must say, I actually really liked Haley's performance. But I liked Casey better 🙂
 
My gf watches that show so I occasionally get exposed to it. Based on the final 7 that I saw, this is the worst talent level ever on the show. Terrible.
 
I thought that was one of the best performances by Haley to date and the judges pretty much burst her bubble. Just didn't understand their reactions.

I was just saying that AI has had much worse top 7. Maybe even top 5.

This bunch probably isn't the greatest ever but as a group of 12 they've been performing pretty solidly so far. However, I believe last night was not one of the better nights of overall performances since final round started. So it's just your luck that you caught them not at their best 🙂
 
I haven't been watching the show at all, but they did say earlier on it was the best talent pool they have had so far.
 
seems like all the teeny bopper votes have been going to Scotty

thought Stefano was coming on strong lately, but since his appeal is to the teen girl crowd, he couldn't complete with Scotty

also guess American is starting to get tired of Jacob's style of singing.

still surprised Lauren has escaped from being in the Bottom 3 this entire season. it's not that she doesn't sing well, but when I hear her voice, there's nothing special or unique to me about it whereas all the other remaining contestants have very distinctive singing voices.
 
I can't believe even after some prompting from Ryan, Scotty didn't even mention the tornadoes that ravaged this area this past weekend. Ryan says "Scotty, any news from back home?" and Scotty mentions cupcakes?
 
wtf? Katy Perry? Why doesn't she just change her name to Katy Gaga already?

Either was fine going home tonight. Hopefully Jacob will be gone next week. It's painfull watching/listening to him sing. Every note he sings he looks like he's pinching a 6" diameter loaf in the process.

I didn't catch that... was trying to fix dinner and watch Idol at the same time 🙂

I dunno, what did you expect him to say? He's a 16-year-old kid that's under an immense amount of pressure, so I don't expect him to be politically correct at a moment's notice.

Something simple like "Oh, right. Just want to send my thoughts to everyone back home affected by the tornadoes." It's not like he had to make a big speech. Ryan threw him a bone to say something, but he totally missed what was going on.

I loved it Wednesday night when everyone was making fun of the singing contestant and they got to Jacob's "Yeah yah yah yeah yeah YEAHHHHs" 🙂
