More like Iggy freak. 😵
Anyone notice that he'd dance all crazy and then he's slow right down to a practical stop for a minute like he had to give his heart a rest?! He looked in good shape for a baked 64 year old borderline anorexic though. 😕

Seemed sorta mean to Stefano when 2 of the judges looked like they swallowed canaries after he was safe and Pia was done. No one said anything good about Stefano and he sat there looking like a pile of guilt for not being the one to go home.

I still would rather Paul hit the road than Pia. But Pia, even though drop dead gorgeous, and a great set of pipes (among other things) was a pretty limp fish as far as the performance part on stage. Looks only get you so far. You have to show stage presence, and she really didn't.

It's going to be a shock for anyone to go home at this point. They are all good.

I agree with just about everything you said; although my bottom three would have been Paul, Steffano, and Jacob with Steffano going home.

Jacob can go any time too imho. He's just always got the crying gospel song expression on his face. I think J-Lo and Randy are going to flip when he does leave though.

Stefano is gorgeous, and can sing fairly well. I wouldn't mind taking him home myself. :whiste:

he was the same when I saw him @ Coachella a decade ago.

You may have to fight JLo for him first. Mark Anthony better watch out, someone may be sneakin around his bed.

I wonder if they'll do anything to "fix" the voting. It's so painfully clear things aren't right IMO.

There is nothing wrong with the voting. What is wrong is it is called "American Idol" it needs to be renamed teenage girl idol now. There is just no way another female will win Idol ever again with 5 million little teenage girls voting online for the boys they have a crush on. The only exception to this rule is if all the guys remaining are either ugly or crippled.

However, web voting did just make the problem more obvious due to the fact that teenagers are much more likely to go vote online than call. Actually do teenagers even know how to dial a phone? Well I guess they need to atleast once to send a text.

teenage girl votership has really helped prevent Stefano from being in the Bottom 3

anyways, expecting Paul, Haley, and someone else being in this week's Bottom 3 and Paul being eliminated

man, I thought Haley killed it.

more low angle shots would have been sweet, too.

I like what Haley brings, but it seems that America does not especially with this week's judges' comments that will contribute to their thought process.

I think Lauren isn't long for American Idol since she brings nothing really unique unlike most of the other remaining contestants, but with her singing a Miley Cyrus song, it's not hard for her to dominate a Miley Cyrus singing comparison. so I think Lauren will hang around for at least another week.

I like that the dude pointed out how she has superior vocals to Miley Cyrus...which is true, haha.

I keep thinking Stefano will be voted out every week. I like him, I think he kills it every time, but he's always on the brink.

I don't think the kiddies dig Haley, either. This is why they suck. 🙁

Paul, gone, please. HE SUCKS! Who is voting for him? Seriously, I can't see the tween girls voting for him. He's got the style of Barry Manilow.

I'm convinced you're getting a different audio feed on the west coast than us on the east coast. I thought she sounded horrible, and I'm definitely not a "kiddie."

She did look smokin in that dress though, but I've not let that cloud my judgement unlike some people in this thread. 😀 😉

I honestly don't understand what people don't like about her voice? She doesn't have a lot of power, but she has a great tone and quality to it. Love the growling.

I don't relaly have a favorite, though, not like Crystal or Lambert--someone who is far and away better than everyone else, and that I really want to see. But she and Casey (to lesser and lesser degrees, now) are the only ones that interest me.

Blondie was perfect for her.

Not sure what I don't like about it, I just don't like it. She doesn't sound like she has character, she sounds flat to me. The growling is annoying as hell, and is usually what someone does to cover up the fact that they can't sing. And is it me, or is her voice getting raspier and raspier when speaking as the weeks go by? It's like she's purposely making it sound rougher because she knows thats here thing.

Honestly though, I don't have a favorite either. And when it comes down to it, I really don't care who wins because it's not like I'd buy an album any of them release anyway. I've been watching the show for the past 5 seasons or so since my wife started watching, and I really couldn't tell you what songs any of the contestants have released after the show.

This season is starting to tire me though because of the judges. Aside from what they said to Haley last night they seem to be immune from giving any criticism at all. Steven likes every performance, JLo is too nice to say anything constructive, and Randy tells pretty much everyone they're "in it to win it." I miss Simon and I actually miss Kara because at least she was willing to hurt people's feelings with honesty.

Don't talk like that about Barry Manilow 😡

Anyway, Paul should really go next. Does VFTW have enough pull to safe him this time?

Randy tries hard to be the new Simon, J-Lo tries to be the new Randy, and Steven is definitely the new Paula (sans the incoherent babble).

I agree with you though, it's so boring when all the judges are saying good things. In their defense however, I don't think there's much more they can say about the contestants' performance this year. I'm sure Simon can come up with something insulting once or twice, but in general these finalists have been performing pretty flawlessly the past few weeks.

Randy is no way trying to be the new Simon. He's been himself. He was never really a harsh guy to begin with, and he's not any different this season. J-Lo is the first female on there to know what she is talking about. She has great critiques although the Mom in her shines through a bit much. And Tyler babbles, but he's dirty minded and he's says some funny shit, and I wouldn't say that mimics Paula. Although the fact that he rarely says anyone is anything but awesome is a fault. But he's to be respected for being in the business for as long as he has. Credit due for that.

What's different this year is the judges are treating the contestants like artists, not like contestants. Like Steven Tyler said, he knows singers who have made it that may be pitchy at times or mess up a song, but they are still artists who made it big.

I think that's why this year's contestants are doing so well and maturing so fast. The judges give them confidence with all the compliments, and very precise constructive criticism.

It's actually nice to not hear Simon and his ego this season. Refreshing change of pace.
