Official "ALIAS" (season 4) thread

It's a 2-hour premiere tonight, following the Lost, episode 12 airing. If you'd like an abridged version of what has happened thus far, LMK. 🙂

Synopses (Please bear with them as they're from memory and I'm too lazy to type out the text written on the DVD.. Besides, I think it's more fun this way 😛):

Season 1:
Introduction to Alias -- we meet Post-Graduate student, Sydney Bristow, working for a bank, Credit Dauphine in Los Angeles. It's actually a cover for the "division" of the CIA she works for -- SD-6. Her big boss, Sloan is a bad bad man who had Sydney's fiancée killed because he found out she was working for the "CIA". Sydney finds out that her estranged Dad also works for the CIA and SD-6 (she also found out that SD-6 isn't the CIA)... Now she vows to destroy SD-6 (the REAL baddies) working as a double-agent for the CIA. Season 1 ends with her being captured by... her supposedly dead MOM!

Season 2:
Syd's Mommy asks for refuge from the CIA but they don't trust her (she's former/current KGB). She tries to befriend her daughter throughout the season, etc. Syd's new love interest, fellow CIA co-worker, Michael Vaughn, becomes her BF after SD-6's fall (yes, the dreaded SD-6 dies mid-season). Syd's mom betrays the CIA and her daughter, there's some mumbo jumbo stuff about this guy's (Milos Rambaldi) predictions about how Sydney is the anti-Christ (or summit), somehwere in the season her best friend (non-CIA) is killed and a bizarro clone is put in her place to do some spying on Sydney and then the season ends with a bad-ass cat fight so bad-ass that Sydney passes out after defeating her "best-friend". She wakes up in Hong Kong -- 2 years later -- unable to remember anything that happened in the past 2 years. She also finds out Vaughn thought she died so the bastard went and married a blonde.

Season 3:
Syd wakes up, finds out Vaughn married some bitch blonde, Sloane (the jackass) is now a "humanitarian" and her dad is under investigation from the CIA 'cuz apparently he's been speaking with Syd's mom (his ex) and he doesn't wanna tell them where she is (FYI: Syd's mom doesn't make an apperance at all in Season 3 because the actress is greedy and wanted more money so she wasn't asked back!). A new threat, "The Covenant" has emerged in the 2 years that she missed. She basically attempts to piece back her life (she still has feelings for Vaughn and is extremely jealous of his "wife"). Somewhere down season 3, we find out Sloane's still a baddie, but a daddy baddie who had an affair with Syd's mom; We find out Syd has a half-sister (and her sis *might* actually be this so-called Anti-Christ); Vaughn's wife, Lauren, is a baddie -- who married Vaughn to keep tabs on him and make sure he doesn't really know that Syd's alive (during the 2 years that she was missing); And Syd's Aunt (her mom's sis) has an affair with her Dad and actually turns out to be a semi-baddie, working for The Covenant. If you think this is confuzzling, then you're correct. Anyway, Season 3 ends with Syd defeating Lauren (possibly dead -- no one's dead in Alias unless they're, um, dead), and finding out some weird crap about herself when she was a child (when her mom "died" her dad started "training" her in the ways of espionage) in a secure, safe-deposit box...

😀 😀 😀

Other Alias fans, feel free to add your embelishments/corrections/comments to my humble synopses above. 🙂

Season 4: Sydney Anne Bristow
Premiere episode synopsis: -- will be posted if needed --

i've watched every single episode up to this point and I can't remember what has happened through it all... just where they've left off...

Also, Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan (vaughn) were dating IRL at the end of season 3 and the writers put their characters together too. Now that Garner is with Ben Affleck, it will be interesting to see how Sydney and Vaughn play the romantic stuff... even though they prob taped it a few months ago.

Hehe, you're after the character interaction as well (after the breakup IRL) 😀

It should be fun watching it, knowing they're not together anymore.

On another note, I heard that Sydney will be "leaving" the CIA! Any news to this rumor? (I suppose I should just wait and see tonight)

I can't wait! I was gonna head out to an Alias party, but the roads here in SE MI are pretty much impassable due to snow, so I'll be watching it all by my lonesome. 🙁

Yeah, that'd be nice, give us a synopsis of what's happened in the previous seasons. I'm gonna start watching this and 24 so I need the info man!

I'm going to start watching Alias tonight also. Could you give us a synopsis of previous seasons or a place to go to catch up real quick?

no, that part I had no problems with, they looked perfect 😛 her body is just in shape... it's not "soft". but yes, her shoulders are pretty broad, like a swimmer.

As is her face. I wouldn't kick her out of bed though. At least not while she's pretending to be a woman.

they look like mosquito bites to me. she's definitely toned in all the right places, and she's a really good actress.

i said screw it and watched Alias for the first time tonite. not too bad of a show.

i think Nadia is hot. Jennifer Garner sometimes looks like a man.

What a waste. The cliffhanger they left us with last season was stupid, they're trying to hard with the plot, and theres TOO MUCH FVCKING DRAMA.

Did they change directors or something? The show dropped like a rock after the second season.

it's ABC that's why. Imagine if Fox or HBO ran it
