Stephen Hawking doesn't form theories about anything. He makes hypotheses that are (or not) eventually backed up by evidence (and thus becomes a theory or gets tossed out as garbage).

How many of these "architects and engineers" have studied building collapses extensively? How much training do they have as investigators? How many of them have dedicated their lives to understanding what happened when a building fell down? None! The NIST has an entire department that's dedicated to this stuff.

Look at Richard Gage's "qualifications:"

Richard Gage, AIA is the founding member of ae911Truth.org. He has been a practicing Architect for 20 years and has worked on most types of building construction including numerous fire-proofed steel-framed buildings. He is employed with a San Francisco Bay Area architecture firm and has most recently performed Construction Administration services for a new $120M High School campus including a $10M steel-framed Gymnasium. Currently he is working on the Design Development for a very large mixed use urban project with 1.2M sq.ft. of retail and 320K sq.ft. of mid-rise office space ? altogether about 1,200 tons of steel framing.

Okay, so he builds gymnasiums and small office spaces?

Each tower of the WTC weighed 500,000 tons and was 110 stories tall. How in god's name is Richard "I build gyms" Gage qualified to make any statements about the collapse of a building that is probably larger than the collective size of the buildings he has designed?
