My son has picked the 3 rounds and we have 3 votes so far....one for each grouping.

I will abstain from choosing a round so we have 11 voting members. Majority will rule. I'd like to complete this today if possible so we can have at least a week to do some mock drafts.

I can change my vote to C. I really do not care at all; I pick whatever letter gets this done. 😀

Come on, can we just get one more person to pick C so we can move on with this?

By my count we have 5 C votes (4 here and 1 on Yahoo), so one more would clinch it.

Guys, I just got home from a birthday dinner for my MiL. I'll post the "C" group in a little bit. Just got an iPad 2 and I want to set it up. LOL

The draft order for grouping C is the following:

1. rocadelpunk
2. Wipe My Pujols
3. RAMC3
4. Bronx Bombers
5. Redeemption
6. Wu-Tang Financial
7. Sticky Icky Ball
8. Beantown Brawlers
9. KT's Expos
10. Just Running Away
11. Intravenus de Milo
12. Dutch Masters

I will update the main page and the yahoo page to reflect the changes. Go ahead and start preparing for the draft next week! Good luck!!

Don't forget everyone the draft is tonight at 9:30pm EST. I am really sick and don't know if I'll be able to make it. If not, then its ok because I got everything ranked but I'd like to be there instead of using autodraft.

It's all good, I'm sure autodraft will serve you well. :sneaky: Seriously though, feel better man.

I'll be heading home right at 4:00 and grabbing a six pack on the way. Let's go Expos!

There has been a request made to reduce the number of innings pitched to 1250. I am too sick to figure out the exact reason but since the request was made I'll put it to a vote.

7 YES votes for the change

Your pitchers combined can only throw so many innings in one season (lets say 1300). As soon as you go past the 1300 inning limit none of your pitching stats will count. Say you burn through it at the beginning of September, your pitching numbers are frozen for the rest of the fantasy season. If a pitcher on your team threw a no-hitter the week after you've reached your limit, it wont help you any.

Why does this exist? It's to discourage teams from just dropping/picking up starting pitchers every day to try and rack up Win/K numbers and blow everyone else out in those categories. It forces the managers to actually manage their rotations and to use their pitchers when the match-up is most favorable. Just look in the bottom left-hand corner on your team and it'll tell you have many innings you've used, how many are left, and even if you're currently under/over innings at the pace you're going.

I was too sick to join the draft. Autodraft appears to have boned me! Ah well, I'm going to make a run at it anyway.

Can someone explain this to me?

That is correctly explained. I am just wondering why it was requested to be reduced 50 innings. Is there some sort of formula you are using that would make 1250 better then 1300? I've had this setting for 3 years now and never had a problem. Most people actually hit the 1300 a couple weeks prior to the season ending.

So far we've only had a couple votes. I am going to put a deadline on this for Friday at noon EST. If we don't have enough votes by then the current setting will be kept.

Also, I have a couple open slots in my other league. It has the same settings as this one except it is a $25 buy in. Let me know if anyone is interested!!
