heh...I thought it was kind funny....waiting for Dug to chime in on Vegemite ;)

Can't wait to see the movie....but being in Steamboat Springs, CO, the local theatre doesnt get it so I can't see it till Sunday :(

Whats the point of seeing it in imax? Makes it so damn huge you can't see as much at one time. imax wasnt made for regular movies.

Besides, the worst part about going to the movies is the other people...why find the theater with the largest number of them?

Can't wait to see this one flop. The previews look like crap. Correction ... the graphics are great .... what about hte story?

This is one of the few movies I've REALLY WANTED to see in theatres. I'm going Sunday.

There was an advance screening on campus two days ago. I've heard one or two comments, nothing spectacular though.

Just got back from watching it. My overall review is that it is excellent, but not ground breaking or spectacular. This is no Lord of the Rings or Matrix or Braveheart. But I definitely enjoyed it and it was well worth the price of admission.

Couple comments:

-the soundtrack was excellent
-they DO use a phalanx
-the DO show the thesbians that fought with the spartans
-subpar acting is probably the main reason the movie isn't as good as it could have been
