Mine was TOTALLY worth the wait!

HQ RealFeel practice pad. Absolute _BEST_ practice pad on the market, bar none! My SS did a killer job of tracking something down that I'd absolutely love! I'm already shredding some licks on this thing, and I literally took it out of the box 5 minutes ago. The timing couldn't be any more perfect. I'm actually entering my final season of drumcorps, so this totally helps me out beyond that of a simple gift.

Quasmo, you win the award for my best X-Mas gift of 2009 :-D

THANK YOU!!!

Glad you didn't have one. I played the xylophone in high school, and went to several corp competitions (been a while). These were the pads we used to practice on, and they were awesome. Glad to know you liked it!

I'd post pics of my gift but I drank my them already. I got a bunch of AMAZING BEER.

I got a single 12oz bottle of:
Dogfish Head World Wide Stout 18% ABV
Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA 21% ABV

I mixed these together on New Year's Eve for the ULTIMATE half and half. I got really really drunk. Thanks SS.

I also got a 4 pack of:
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA 9% ABV
Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout (can't remember the ABV off the top of my head)

What an amazing gift. My SS went above and beyond, which made me want to go that extra mile as well.

I actually do have the single sided OLD (black) model, but I've completely destroyed it over the years. This is a really nice upgrade and it'll definitely be put to use! I'm already addicted, haha

I was moving shortly after christmas so it took me some time to get some picture of my haul - but here is!

ATOTSS.gif

- 10ft HDMI Cable,
- A sweet 'House MD' poster/print
- A battlestar galactica novel
- The god of war collection on PS3
- Fight club on Blu Ray

Thanks SS, you're amazing! My family was shocked when I told them these were secret santa gifts from someone on the internet I didn't know - they assumed I had been buying myself some Christmas presents :)

I got my gifts a while ago, but I didn't get around to uploading the picture until now:
ATOT_Secret_Santa_2009.jpg

-Star Wars playing cards featuring two decks, one has a different movie poster on each card and the other has quotes
-Wireless bike computer (for speed, distance, etc.)
-STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl PC game
-Santa Claus chocolate bar

According to the official SS thread, my secret santa is chunkee. So thanks for the gifts! You did a great job picking them out. The playing cards are awesome, I love Star Wars and I've been wanting a cool deck of cards to replace my worn down deck. Very good choice with the bike computer, I actually needed one on my commuter bike. STALKER is a great game, though I've already beaten it. Finally, the chocolate crisp type candy is one of my favorites, Santa didn't last long before I ate him

Thanks DisgruntledVirus!

Now I have to buy myself that Leatherman from my wish list :p
Maybe I made my list too hard to find, since nobody else got me one either ;)

From my Infocus 4805 days, I remember that Gladiator is one of my better looking DVDs, so I'm excited to see how the Blu-ray turned out. According to AVSforum's Tier list, it's only average, but average for Blu-ray should still look a heck of a lot better than DVD on my screen size!

Thanks!

Glad you like it :)

I can't tell you how long it took me to find your wishlist btw. It was a good 3 hours of digging around to find it. Money was a tad tighter than I had planned, or you would have gotten your Leatherman :). I just picked up Gladiator myself the other day on Blu-Ray ($15 at BB was worth it), and looking forward to watching it myself. I also remembered it was really good quality in DVD, so Blu-Ray should be awesome right? Let's hope, and let me know what you think :)

Oh, and your address threw me off but I verified with Marty prior to shipping. I was worried it might cause issues, but glad you got everything okay. Enjoy.

Getting me the Leatherman would have been way too much :p

I bought it for myself though and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Too bad I'm going on my first business trip ever though and will end up having to wait a couple days to try it out. I'll be ready to clip it though thanks to you ;)

I've only had a "real job" for about 6 months now, so the idea of taking paid time off around the holidays wasn't something I was considering at the time I filled out the Secret Santa form. I assumed I'd be working a lot around the holidays and would be less likely to miss the shipment at work.

I took a couple weeks off of work and I still have about 3.5 weeks of vacation time. This job is pretty awesome :p
So I'm sorry I wasn't thinking harder about where things should be sent. I think I may have written this already, but I'm glad you didn't send me a tub full of JELLO too ;)

3 hours searching for stuff to get me? You're crazy ;)
You could have given up and just gotten me a box of random stuff :p
Thanks for putting forth the effort though :awe:

My family is usually pretty lame on gifts. This year was about average and I got the following gifts from my parents:
A pair of pants from a thrift store ($2.60 + tax)
A small folding pocket knift (free promotional item from my dad's work)
An office binder + calculator (free promotional item from my dad's work)

So what I got from you was super cool :D

Haha, glad you like it! Was tough trying to pick a game, but I love Brodeur, so I picked the Devils. Hope it's a good one!
