You shouldn't really pick on @Indus as much. 😉 I go on political rants all the time myself both liberal, conservative, green party, etc.

It just depends on who I am mad at today. Today I am mad at an Isreali company because I got taken by their bullshit.

I normally avoid foreign stocks as a rule. Today I broke my rule and got a big foot up my ass all the way from Tel Aviv.
You're right. I should probably lay off on reacting to the absurdity.
It will continue. It will be absurd. That's his own prerogative.

Wonder what Tuesday has in store for the market.

It's one thing to strike down the tariffs in the early stages back in April. It's an entirely different thing to try to make it go away 5 months later.

My guess is that we see a healthy bounce.

SCrOTUS can't even entertain the appeal until October at the earliest. And everything there tends to take months, even when "expedited."

Of course, they're capable of moving swiftly but I don't see their being eager to crack open this particular bee hive.

-And then the inevitable Scrotus ruling reinstating Trump's ability to levy the Tarrifs.

Something something "congress' inaction is defacto approval of Trump's interpretation of the emergency powers he has taken" or something to that effect.

The whiplash is going to be something to behold.

Thing is he says trust the market to go up.

In my humble opinion the market will just ignore all the truth and believe the lies that promote positivity. Just like they did before the Housing/Banking implosion in 2008.

Then when it becomes impossible to ignore and the news becomes all bad.. they all follow each other right off the cliff.

The part about Congress inaction is very true lol.

Like Trump could probably make the lawsuit moot by getting Congress to vote on it. But they won't. Cuz they are Congress.

(I expect the SC to rule in favor of killing the tariffs btw)

Find me millions of people worldwide working for you for free, buying your in game cash and then nickle and dime them while they loiter for hours on your site generating revenue which they see as "fun" and I will show you ab $80b company.

Currently 126, I think 133. If they can resolve the platform issues and settle the suits favorably or cheaply and continue to grow then why not 180?

This is worth a watch..

I bought 25 and it was in a red for a long time.. now I'm thinking I was stupid for not buying 225 or something.

P/E was always reasonable unlike say Palantir.

BTW found this gem on asking for stock picks on reddit:

I bought pre-split. iirc it was 20-1. I wanted to get in case demand surged on the cheaper share price.

Alas GOOGL did nothing for a while, just meandered in the low 100's. I eventually sold a far out call at 140 which of course sent the shares upward. I'm a market moving magician in that respect.

I ended up buying it back at a loss which ended up being a great move.

The drop from the 200's down to 150 was troubling but I:m glad I held on.

Google is wonderful. Cash cow, baby and relatively cheap. Just slow and steady grower for a 10 year hold.

Yeah it's one of the few no brainer stocks in the entire market.. you use it everyday.

The only question is how much of your networth is worth investing in it. I put in 2k, then added another 3k so I'm at 5k. Wishing I went bigger obviously..

But how much bigger is the question.. at what point does it become too much?

Pedos rejoice!
I think more than pedos are rejoicing with a 1 year gain of 128%. Assuming the next ER is good, then ??? I hate to make prediction that far out. I've seen good earnings reports and stocks crash anyway (then go back up).

BKTI was a sleeper. There market cap is $255m. Sales dont really justify the price so I haven't touched the stock, just put it on a watchlist since the last ER.

Here is what Tipranks says: (I think it gained a lot of value because of increasing margins, sales growth was lackluster IMO which is why I dont own it either)

These numbers dont make me see why its worth $255 million. Probably just momentum.
