Also - I am laughing my balls off at how much Trump is trying to prevent the market falling such as... saying tax relief, money for people + businesses, yet with all his actions and after his dumb speech last night the market even reacted negatively to it just because they feel he is incompetently handling everything.


(Not trying to make this political - Just observing how his "OH NO DONT LET THE MARKET FALL BEFORE MY ELECTION!" is having an opposite effect)

Made couple small plays today. Sold March 13 TSLA $600 put and bought 1,000 shares of AMRN at $12.50.

That didn't go too well. Tesla is down to 570 premarket and AMRN is at 11 now.

Hard to pick stocks during a 1929 style market crash. This one might rival 2008-2009's 55% decline.

QQQ $140 was the 2018 low and I've heard lots of calls for that happen

Buyers beware, shorts beware its going to very treacherous for everyone.

interesting.. sqqq (triple short qqq) is only up 20% in the past 5 days.
that's not much for a triple short of the market when the market is dropping like a rock

that's not much for a triple short of the market when the market is dropping like a rock

I wish I had not sold my SQQQ prematurely, oh well. Shorting before a recovery bounce is risky.

What I love about this decline is that Boomer stocks like those owned by Warren Buffett are getting killed. He's holding lot of financials, airlines, and oil and those are getting murdered. Now we'll see how much conviction uncle Warren has in those names. He's sitting on lot of cash.

Traded a little this morning to lock in some gains and generate a little bit of free cash. Yeah, I know it was late, but money has still been made so I am happy.

Market was moving so fast yet my ToS platform was moving in slow motion. I saw AMRN in the $8s and tried to buy it and price jumped to mid $9 by the time I was typing in the order. I had to chase and cancel two more orders before I bought at $10.

Which sites (that aren't too awful) have no-delay market tracking? I live my life five minutes in the past. It's mostly okay but sucks at opening.

Real time quoting requires declaration of being on-professional. Otherwise the exchanges charge us a fortune for real time data. Doubtful you will find real time offered anywhere that isn't a broker account you've opened and acknowledged that non professional status.

Yeah fast market all over. Be careful. Cancels might already be due fills. Delays on those fills. Especially at open.
