Well -
The election does mean a lot of things politically.
1) Will news media cover COVID outbreaks to the same degree that they do currently?
2) Will there be as much push-back on passing stimulus now, or will it breeze through?
If Joe "wins" you can bet they wont treat him the way they treated the president. No fact checking. No constantly calling him a liar. No late night mockery. No confrontations during press conferences. It will be all kisses and roses and sometimes a handjob for the next four years. The media will pressure the Republicans like they did under previous admins.
I've lived long enough to see the game. Whip up public sympathy and anger against Reps for not giving into any Dem demand that comes down the pike. You can only pick on McConnel for so long before he caves like he always does. He is no fun. Trump fights back and they hate that so they gave him nothing but hell for four years. They were used to Reps always caving, not this time, and it drove them to madness.
...but I digress
As far as your questions, if Joe wins they will still report Covid like they do now but we will get daily positive updates on how we getting closer to a vaccine. The stimulus thing is kind of touchy for me, but yes the media will pressure Reps to do whatever Nancy and Joe wants.
