Guys - I wanted to do a thread title talking about COVID and the Titans, but I thought it would be too insensitive, so I am clowning the con-artists Atlanta FalCONS. They have been conning us since that unfathomable SB collapse.

Lol the Bears beat them with their second-string QB, but in fairness to the Bears, Tru-Bis-Shit is the worst QB drafted since Ryan Leaf. And I cannot believe the Lions actually won a game!

lol Jets
lol Saints
lol Cow-girls.

I won't make any picks this week. You decide!

Thursday, Oct. 1
Broncos at Jets, 8:20 p.m. (NFLN)

Sunday, Oct. 4

Broncos/Jets, who cares?
Cardinals
Colts
Bengals - first win for Burrows!
My upset of the week - Browns!
Saints
Texans
Seahawks
Buccaneers
COVID-19 covers the spread!
Ravens rebound
Rams
Chiefs even though the Hoodie is so good at games like this.
Bills are one the better teams in the league. Allen is turning into a very good QB.
49ers continue the pain for Iggle fans.
Packers do not let Falcons get ahead to then collapse.

Looking forward to hearing the banter this weekend.

I wasn't a fan of Allen. I am not quite now, but he's good. I haven't seen him play because of the market I live in, but I hope to get a game in.

I am picking against the Lions too, but I am a little skeptical about that game. But as we know, playing the Lions is how teams get back on track.

I can't wait to see how they lose this week, rookie Okudah made a few good plays but was burned a few times as well. AP and the running game is working, i'm surprised how well they have run the ball, even KJ seems to running harder now

You need to get NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Game Pass. I have both. If I do not watch a game on Sunday, I’ll watch the condensed version on Game Pass.

I am not a fan of Allen either, but you cannot argue with his results. The Bills are a good team and would win without Allen, but he is not the impediment that other QBs are.

Okudah should be OK. I remember that it took Slay about 3 years to come a top 10 CB. KJ is scared to lose his job I think.

But I have to admit, I hate our regime and I wanted us to LOSE the Cards game. I have no faith in these guys.

Tonight is a matchup between two of the worst teams in the NFL.

Frankly although it pains me to say I think my Giants ARE the actual worst but these teams make it debatable lol.

I'll give the slight edge to Denver talent-wise but since its a Jets home-game I'll call it a toss-up .... picking Gang-Green just because NY.

I don't envy Jets or Broncos fans. That game was awful to watch. I keep rooting for Darnold to at least be a decent QB. He'll make a few great throws, then just look lost.

I hope we get the Chiefs/Pats game, but I fear we will be subjected to the Giants getting their asses kicked.

...Seahawks need to stomp the Dolphins. All their games have been very close; though to very good teams, they still need a statement game and beating up on a meddling-to-dogshit team is a good option. Also, they might very well lose in Miami. Seattle no longer suffers under the "doesn't play well on the east coast" stigma, as that hasn't been true in more than 3 seasons now, but this is definitely a sleeper game for them and I feel they may not show up.

Of course, Carson being out this game for the first time, adjustments already have to be made.

Oh come on, you make him sound like Trent Dilfer. Allen is way better than Trent Dilfer.

...and that makes TWO straight weeks that I have referenced Trent Dilfer. You're welcome, everybody.

So the NYC area stations will be showing the Patriots?

Not to imply I wouldn't rather watch KC/NE (even as a Giants fan) but usually the NY teams get priority in the home-market even if they stink.

Allen is way better than Trent Dilfer

In the beginning I wasn't a believer but Allen seems to be showing a LOT of potential upside. With his size, athletic ability and strong arm I could see him getting a ring at some point.

No, that map is for the CBS channel. The Giants game is on Fox. The blue in that map is the Raiders/Bills game.

...yeah, I don't get that. not only does NY/NJ not get the Giants, but also LA/St Louis area doesn't get the Rams. ...I don't believe this map, and I refuse to believe that I won't be screwed by the NFL this weekend. It's still 2020, after-all.

edit: Oh I spoke too soon...I misread the OP and thought they were broadcast on the same network, which is what I was worried about, haha.

damn it! that game will either suck, or be kinda like history, as it's the perfect opportunity for the next Brady to step in and begin his dynasty, in about the same way....

let's see...check notes.....Brian Hoyer?

Ah, well. OK. back to option 1.

MLB had a number of Covid-related incidents in its shortened schedule and I think it's fair to say that it's a lot easier to social-distance in a baseball game then when playing tackle-football.

Hope they make it through the season... :confused_old:

Not looking good for the season when in week 4 you have one game canceled and a second that looks like it will be. Maybe we’ll just have an 8 game season with no playing rather than a what MLB, NHL, NBA, MLS, etc did.
