The same Andy Reid that constantly got in his own way and found ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? The same one that didn't win a Super Bowl for however many years til Mahomes came along? Holy fucking shit some of you are just fucked in the head. Before Mahomes people questioned if Reid had what it took to win a Super Bowl.

Also, Alex Smith would like a word.

Understood, but his teams competed year in year out. He got much from Donovan McNabb. Had a good chance in their SB, but TO getting hurt killed their chances. He has always been an offensive genius. His knock was that he could not get to and win the big game, but there is a long list of coaches who are there.

That play call was almost as bad as the Seahawks passing at the goal line. Why they didn't just sneak it I have no fucking clue. Cam could have easily stretched the ball over the goal line. Instead they do like a shitty delayed run. Just dumb.

Agreed. Having him just jump up and stretch the ball would have been much better, but The Hoodie usually games those situation well. This time it did not work. Historically though, Cam is better from the 5 out than from the 5 in with his legs and TDs.

Uh...Mahomes already won the Super Bowl? I get it, its 2020 and that happened just before lockdown and if I remember right you're a Pats fan so obviously you're not keen to accept a changing of the guard, but...wow.

I mean, I get it, this is nerdville, but holy shit somehow peoples' takes on here have gotten worse and worse.

You remember INCORRECTLY. (I'm shocked) 😉

Sadly my 2020 season was over in week 1. 🙁

But ahhh .... memories !!! 😛

The Chiefs handed the Ravens their heads Monday night and made it look easy. Half the time Mahomes literally appeared to be coasting and that's my one concern re the Chiefs repeating.

I agree about Watson ... in fact I picked him to be the best out of the current crop of "young-guns" in the NFL in that poll-thread on here awhile back. Obviously Mahomes has taken that honor (as of today) but Watson is a solid number 2 IMO.

As for Jackson only time will tell ... however if Steve Deberg and Jim Plunkett have rings ... and they do ... he could certainly end up with one! (or more)

you forgot Trent Dilfer
