Neither did Ghana, Ivory Coast, Chile, Netherlands... All strongs teams relatively speaking.

Damn, I didn't realize that the Netherlands didn't qualify. I do seem to recall Italy not qualifying...that was prior to the US being booted, right? Something like....70 years since Italy was not in the WC?
