**Official 2018-19 'Struck by the Beckham Bus' NFL Week 6 Thread**

Honestly, this week has been sooo busy for me personally and professionally that I am not really that up-to-date on the latest OBJ HUGE headache pill the Giants need to take this week.

Combine losing with borderline cancerous jackwagons like OBJ, and you're in for a long season and answering stupid questions at press conferences. I bet that if OBJ wasn't as freakishly good as he is, they would have cut ties with him in the off-season.

Anyway, while saying your coach is getting "out schemed" makes GREAT fodder and headlines for talking heads to rave about, it tears a lockroom apart obviously.

I wouldn't want this guy on my team.

BYE: Lions and Saints.

Wow, that MNF game is going to suck. And did the NFL flex in the Patriots game?

I have a question for anyone who wants to play ball:

If you were GM with the first pick in an expansion draft while knowing how their careers would turn out thus far and you needed to select a WR, who would you want on your team -- Terrell Owen or OBJ?

Take into consideration their lockeroom and "me first" "diva" issues, and all that other stuff.

TO, for me, only because he couldn't be as loud as he wanted seeing his prime was before the age of social media.

TO no questions asked. I feel like he can do everything OBJ does AND he is a huge body so he can go up and fight for balls that OBJ would get punked on. It is also clear that TO's main passion is football and he is all in when it comes to football. And it's basically the exact opposite with OBJ, you can tell he loves the celebrity status he has and is a huge attention whore.

If you haven't seen the NFL Football Life on TO before I strongly recommend it. That guy went through a lot of shit as a child and growing up and it's the reason he is the way he is. He is not the brightest person in the NFL by any means but he's extremely football smart. He even explains his celebration in Dallas that got him laid out, and he genuinely had no clue that it would be offensive to the Cowboys.

TO has been my favorite WR since his 49er days. Always liked his toughness and never taking a day off. LOL I loved that Dallas celebration.

But the only thing I don't like about TO is he is really sensitive and looks at valid criticism as a betrayal. That does come from his upbringing.

Like you said, OBJ is just a jackass, and attention whore. I really dislike him. Wouldn't have signed him.

I really looked on him totally differently during the playoff game at GB when he spent all night drinking and partying and wasn't prepared, and got shutdown. Sad indictment on his priorities.

OBJ is a good WR but his value is mainly based on a huge target share from Eli. Who is very far into his decline stage so even that target share isn't helping OBJ be anything other than average. The Giants are too ridiculously stacked in the skill positions to rely on such a post-prime QB to get them the ball.

TO, OBJ or Moss? 😛

lol I've argued for years that TO is the second best WR in history. Moss takes days and seasons off. He definitely took his Raiders season off, and did not care about the Titans.

You'll never hear that TO quit. You'll never hear that he took a play off. The dude was a monster.

If you want me to rate pure skill, I'd have to take Rice, Megatron, TO, Moss, Fitz.

Wow Sqauon Barkley is ssssssoooooo good lol. He's fun as shit to watch.

Barkley's talent is so wasted on the Giant's organization. I really feel sorry for the guy. Honestly, the best thing for the Giants right now is a new QB. Eli can't scramble the slightest bit and even his short passes are duds.

Barkley is killing it for me tonight, but Beckham hasn't done much. While the 55 yard screen was cool and the 50 yard TD run showed incredible burst ... I think the 9 yard run Barkley had was more impressive. I don't know how he hurdled Jenkins right after making a cut to avoid a tackle in the opposite direction. It just looks like that shouldn't have worked.

I started watching late...gawd the Giants are turrible. I’ve never been an Eli fan...but it seems like he gets worse every year. Time to retire...

He's like a poor man's Barry Sanders. Which might sound like a slight but honestly it's not, if SB is even 80% the RB which Sanders was then Barkley will be a surefire HOF player.

So this means that he will live out his career in the "what-could-have-been" mediocrity that is the Giants?

...a joke, obviously, because it's a different time. Dude will get a fat contract somewhere that is relevant, in short order. Assuming he doesn't break his legs.

^Yeah, it looks like quite a few down to the wire type games.

Bears were gifted an opportunity in OT but somehow whiff. I'm not blaming the kicker on that one though. They really should have done more to get closer.

-proceeds to throw 2 int's....the longer he's in the league the better CK's case looks

I agree to a certain extent. It's silly to say there aren't worse QBs on NFL rosters than QK.

But there are other factors. Has he definitively stated he would play for a backup's salary? I haven't read anything that confirms that.

Plus - if he wins that collusion lawsuit that's going to be HUGE bucks for him. Possibly 250 mil actual damages, another 250 mil or more punitive. Maybe he doesn't want to risk any action that could derail it?
