This is why the one week break backfires for so many winning teams. They come into the game cold. You can do scrimmages all you want. It doesn't replace playing an actual game.

I know it's risky, but The Cowboys should have never taken out their stars for the Eagles/Cowboys game. 1) They lost their momentum which is important going into the playoffs. 2) The starting players haven't played a game in 3 weeks.

as a Giants fan I am hoping for that to happen. I hate the 49'ers as well and when they found Kap and went to the big game I was utterly depressed that the niners had found a quarterback for the next decade. Well that didn't pan out. Can only hope for the same with Prescott.
 
Packers winning is probably better for ratings but I think Dallas might have been a better matchup for the Patriots (presuming they win next week). Both Conference championship games are going to be great which is a nice change.
