I have one slot in a 0.5 point PPR keeper (up to three players) league open. It is a ten team league.

  • Quarterback:
    1
  • Running Back:
    2
  • Wide Receiver:
    2
  • Tight End:
    1
  • Running Back / Wide Receiver / Tight End:
    1
  • Kicker:
    1
  • Defensive Team:
    1
  • Bench:
    5
  • Reserve:
    2
Pyonir joined the league the first year and won it. The draft is Thursday 8/24 10 EST. I figured I would ask here first. The two teams had owners that didn't care and I am replacing them.

Send me a message or reply here. Thanks.

Is this the thread for FF advice? If so, I'm in a PPR Keeper league and need some advice. I get to keep up to 2 players but you lose the round they were drafted in the previous season. My options (with my current choices with a "*" next to the name:
*Jay Ajayi - 12th round
*Martavis Bryant - Undrafted
LeSean McCoy - 1st round
TY Hilton - 2nd round
Keenan Allen - 4th round

I will also have the 7th pick in the first round assuming everyone drops their previous first round pick; otherwise my position will move up depending on how many people are drafting 1st. Ajayi is a no brainer but wanted some ideas on the 2nd keeper. I'm thinking Martavis right now because he's, by far, the best value as he'd be going in the 4th or 5th round in a standard draft and I give up nothing to keep him. However, he's a risky play since he just doesn't have a ton of history to go off of (plus he seems to get into trouble). Also, I have no guarantees that i'll get to pick up someone as good as Shady or TY in the 1st round again. Thoughts?

I would stick with McCoy. There are not many RBs that get a ton of work that are reliable. He may last to #7 overall but he is the third RB going right now. He will not be there in the second round.

Just did my draft, 10 man half point PPR

Here's my team:
QB Rodgers
RB - Bell, McCaffery, Jeremy Hill
WR - Dez, Crabtree, Sanders, Diggs, Marshall, Corey Davis
TE - Martellus Bennett

We start 2 WR, 2 Flex, and only 1 RB so my RBs can be thin (they usually are in this league)

I had an auction draft at work over the weekend. Ended up with:

QB: Cam Newton ($1); Andrew Luck ($1)
RB: David Johnson ($64); Leonard Fournette ($24); Eddie Lacy ($1); Latavius Murray ($1)
WR: Antonio Brown ($64); Golden Tate ($5); Pierre Garcon ($1); Tyrell Williams ($2); Corey Coleman ($1)
TE: Rob Gronkowski ($28); Martellus Bennett ($2)
DEF: Denver Broncos ($2)
K: Mason Crosby ($1)

I'm really thin at RB.. but nothing looking good on the wire. :|

good team. Looks like you went Studs N Duds.
You'll compete with anyone with DJ, Brown, and Gronk heading your team.

Cam Newton... bleh. Last year was telling, I think. After getting thumped in the head too many times the first two games, he came back and... stopped running. His rushing stats are absolutely what make him a great fantasy QB, and they dropped off massively last year. Otherwise he's just a pretty average QB.

Just finished my keeper draft in a PPR league. Two keepers per team (lose the round they were drafted in last season) and I kept Martavis Bryant and Jay Ajayi. 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 W/T, 1 W/R, 6 BN:
Starters
QB: Marcus Mariota, Philip Rivers
RB: LeSean McCoy, Jay Ajayi, Ezekiel Elliot (after SUSP)
WR: Keenan Allen, Larry Fitz, Mike Wallace, Martavis Bryant, Marquise Lee
TE: Jack Doyle

Off the top of my head, I'm definitely weak on WR and TE as I don't have solid ELITE options selected for either position; only good to high potential WRs and a meh TE with Luck out. Unfortunately, the flow of the draft was that there was a huge run on WRs before my picks and I felt I would've been stupid not to pick the elite RBs (McCoy, Elliot) with my 1st and 2nd round choices. I'm hoping I can at least stay competitive through the first 6-7 weeks (keep at least a .500 record) until Elliot gets back. Then I can have a monstrous RB core or trade one of my RBs for a top tier WR just in time for the tail end of the season. This is, of course, barring injuries or suspensions which I've been very unlucky with the past couple of years. Thoughts?
