shoot, at 21-18 browns were closer than i thought.

steelers were being crazy with the helmet hits. 4 unnecessary roughness penalties.

Lion's D was pretty good actually, Stafford with 4td's and that awful pick

Rookie WR with two td's

Speaking of bad football, the Eagles won by managing to be only the second sloppiest team on the field today.

You gotta know your opponent. With Washington you just show up, get dressed and let them find a way to lose.

Speaking of showing up, are the Giants going to put in an appearance tonight or just watch from their hotel?

Wife not happy about the Giants.

But always good to see the Seahacks lose. Especially after Bennet made his claims.

REALLY sucks about Eric Berry. Former Vol, great player. Heart of the defense. Was nice to see them beat down the Pats.

NYG offense was so bad tonight. Tomorrow I will have to put up with all the boasting from Dallas fans at work.

remember how you always talk about the seahawks having calls go their way and all that?

lol

I was thinking the same thing, but now they are playing better and have the lead on a nice play and TD catch. With that contract, Stafford will get killed for every mistake by fans and the media here.

We need to hold on and give our fans something to cheer for and some expectations, instead of the year in, year out, same old Lions.

The problem is that the Cardinals played terribly. I do give some credit to the Defense but Palmer was completely off his game, missing quite a few receivers who eluded the secondary and their O line didn't look great by any means. Against a team playing well the Lions would have fared badly

IMO Stafford IS more of the same year in and year out. This isn't to say I hate Stafford as he is a great QB overall. But good enough to be the highest paid in the NFL? Sorry but someone with a 5-46 record against winning teams, 1-25 on the road, only ever made the pro bowl as a replacement and has never won a playoff game doesn't deserve that. (Yes I know hes not the only one playing but still)

Falcons were little conservative under the new OC Steve Sarkisian but Austin Hooper showed he's going to be a stud. I loved him last year for his sure hands and his sneaky ability to get wide open. This year he's going to have breakout year as receiving TE now that Jacob Tamme is no longer here. Yesterday Hooper had the two best stiff arms (one with his right hand, one with left hand) I've seen in recent memory. Madden needs to give this guy 99 for stiff arm skill.

left hand

right hand

Sam Bradford looks really, really good . . . is not something I expected to be saying.

these announcers for the charger/bronco game are horrible....something about her voice just irritates me for some reason...should have been suzy kolber 🙂

Not sure if I just heard their sideline reporter or not...but if that was him, I have no idea how he got that job....

Bradford is a much better QB than people give him credit for. Sure he was awful with Rams and mediocre with the Eagles, but now he's got an actual offense to play with. He will excel this season.
