I have seen Cincy crumble my whole life in big games.
In fact, I can't remember a single big win in a critical game.
I remember lots of blow outs, but they have always been in regular season against the likes of Cleveland.

Fucking Peyton. And what happened to Sanders? He had the touchdown at the end of the 3rd and nothing in the 4th. Wasn't even on the field for the last 2 or 3 minutes D:
 
For those who drafted Jeremy Hill and stashed him all season, this 3pt win was for you. Amazing payoff, now the 3rd best rusher in the NFL. I'll admit his fumble had me shitting bricks though. 😉
 
Eh, at least you guys won something which is better than 90% of the schmucks in your leagues. I put a lot of time into this season so it feels good to finally have something to show for it.

One strategy that helped win was hedging my bet on the Dallas/Indy game. Played Demarco and Herron, both were projected at around 15 points. Scenarios:
1) I knew if Dallas controlled the ground game, Boom wasn't going to get much but Demarco would (which happened).
2) However, Boom also slightly neutralized Andrew Luck a bit since it was PPR where it's a viable strategy since 1 reception is worth more to the receiver than QB. Usually used in higher volume scenarios but still effective here.
3) If Boom blew up, Demarco wasn't going to get much. Demarco's value is diminished since Dunbar would be in the hurry up.
4) If Luck blew up, then Boom would probably be the preferred back to kill clock. Demarco's value is diminished since Dunbar would be in the hurry up.
5) If Dallas blows up, then not a great scenario since they'd most likely sit Demarco b/c of hand. (which happened).
6) The lower percentage chance that both could blow up in a shootout.
7) The opportunity cost was flexing Moncrief or Kenny Britt. Both were well under Boom's projections across the board (numberfire, espn, yahoo) so a lot more risky. Britt ended up with a good day while Moncrief completely busted. Boom was the safer play with the higher ceiling to boot.

Anyway, Boom didn't do much but Demarco did enough so it all worked out, despite the blowout FOR Dallas which wasn't a great scenario for fantasy owners. Hedge those bets.

Was the best case scenario for me last night.
AJ Green gets slight injury to keep him at 0 points, yet Bengals win and AJ will be back next week. 🙂

My winning draft picks were Russell Wilson, DeMarco Murray, Matt Forte.

Yeah really solid there. Demarco and Jordy basically won it for me, ESPN's matthew berry said you can't mess up your first 2 draft picks or you're usually toast. Hill late in the draft was a steal. Benjamin, I picked him up the 2nd week and he's been my solid #2 starter since. Big Ben came through big in 3 weeks, picked he and kelce up in a trade for Foles/Vereen. hehe

Peyton and Demarco for me.... which were solid until the end..doh. The rest of my draft up to 5 or 6 were pretty horrible though. Spiller, A. Johnson, D. Pittafull. Then, It got better with Maclin, Sammy Watkins who I traded early for A. Gates, and K. Benjamin. If Foles and Derrick Anderson QB for Maclin and Benjamin, I think I take home the trophy.. grrrrr.

That's true about Benjamin - Cam Newton is near the bottom in adjusted advanced accuracy. He definitely hurt KB's value, I can't imagine him with a good QB. Foles, however, was also near the bottom but got it done off high volume and the fact that he just needed to put it near Maclin b/c Maclin is so talented. AJ was a major disappointment although his QB's sucked. He didn't have that problem (i.e. he had a bad QB and still did well) last year though so I don't think we can blame it on the QB. He's just old. Spiller was being misused in Buffalo. Pittafull, haha, nice! Maclin/Sammy for A.Gates and KB was a pretty even trade for the most part, although I think you got the better of it because of horrible TE production this year.

OMG.. got the best xmas present from Fantasy Football Santa. Stat corrections. NE D got a block kick to give 2 pts. and the Trophy!!!! Also, Tannehill had a sack that they changed to a run for -5.

I'm a champ!!!
